With over 30 years of professional experience caring for dogs, I provide a safe, loving, home-style boarding experience where your dog can feel comfortable, secure, and part of the family. I’m the owner of a small, home-based dog boarding business in Poulsbo, WA, and I’m home 24/7. Dogs enjoy supervised playtime in my fully fenced yard, plenty of attention, structured rest periods, and individualized care based on their personalities and needs. I specialize in creating a calm environment for dogs who may be nervous or anxious in traditional boarding facilities. I carefully limit the number of dogs I accept so that every guest receives plenty of one-on-one attention. My background includes formal education in Animal Care & Behaviour and more than three decades of hands-on experience working with dogs. I am licensed and insured and take the responsibility of caring for your family member very seriously. When your dog stays with me, my goal is simple: for them to feel safe, happy, loved, and right at home while you’re away.

Great care! Remy loves it at Elisabeths
WOW Elizabeth was absolutely fabulous...second to no one! We left our 2, very spoiled old dogs in her care and she went above and beyond. One of our dogs cannot do stairs SO Elizabeth made certain she did not go up a single step. Elizabeth even washed their coats and beds! I could not recommend her enough, she is the absolute best ever!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH ELIZABETH!!!
Elizabeth is the best
Elizabeth did a super job with our dog, Emma! She put eye medicine in Emma’s eyes, gave her water thro a syringe (because Emma has throat issues) and managed Emma’s special dietary needs without any problems. We really appreciated Elizabeth’s excellent communication skills. She always kept us informed as to Emma’s status so we never once worried about her.
Remy loves Elisabeth!
Libby was great the pups! They were comfortable in her house and enjoyed the fenced yard. She went the extra mile, sleeping with them on the couch!

Schedule
I am home full-time. Taking care of your dog is my full-time job. Dogs will be supervised at all times. They will have plenty of opportunities to go outside and have constant human companionship throughout the day and night.

Safety, trust & environment
My yard is fully fenced in and we have a green space behind our property. Dogs are supervised when out in the yard. During feeding times dogs are separated and fed one at a time. I have dog beds and couches for the dogs to sleep on and if your dog is used to sleeping in bed with you they are welcome up on my bed too!
A typical day
I have a fenced in yard that is surrounded by trees and lots of room to run around and play. The dogs love watching the birds & squirrels as we are surrounded by a greenbelt. There is plenty of shade for them to keep cool if we are outside in the summer or we can play or lounge around inside with the a/c on if it is too hot. There will be toys to play with and plenty of water available at all times.
