Elizabeth previously watched my dogs and it was a great experience. I rebooked for a second time and was disappointed in the services provided. I had reached out to Elizabeth very last minute to see if she would be able to dog sit for me since she had previously watched them. I had contacted her on Friday midday to see if she could sit starting that evening through Sunday. She said she would be able to watch them for me, however, there was miscommunication on the times that the dogs needed care. Ultimately, my dogs were left crated on Saturday from 6:15 am until 9:00 pm (roughly 15 hours). Had I not had a security system and seen that there hadn’t been any activity and reached out to her, they would have been crated until 10:00 or 11:00 pm. I had stated that they would need to be fed breakfast and let out in the morning and would be okay until dinner time. Clearly, there was also some confusion on what a reasonable time for dinner would be. I know it was a last minute booking, but if she was not able to care for the dogs she should not have agreed to sit for me. In addition, Friday evening when she got to the house the dogs were not let out. Saturday morning the dogs were supposedly fed and let out in a time span of 15 minutes. Sunday the dogs were out for 40 minutes, which was the most time they were out of their crates that she dog sat. I am appalled that a dog sitter and lover would think that is an acceptable amount of time for a dog to not only be in a crate, but to not go to the bathroom or have food/water. I’m not sure what changed this time around, but it was a stressful experience being away from my dogs and I am thankful that I had a security system that made me aware of the lack of care they were receiving.

Elizabeth was great- very conscientious, responsible, responded very promptly to every message. She was lovely and we would not hesitate to have her take care of our two furbabies in the future.
