Availability
I'm currently working from home so I have plenty of availability to take care of your lil buddy. I live in East Village but love exploring the city, so I'm happy to come to other neighborhoods.

Safety, trust & environment
I'll always make sure to take it slow and establish trust with your pet. I understand a stranger in their house can be stressful. Regular feeding, playtime, cuddles, and potty clean-up are a sure thing.
Information Elizabeth S. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your cat is a bit on the spicier side. I have experience with human-aggressive cats and even have a soft spot for them. Just need a bit of warning so I can give them their space :) Let me know any behavioral quirks with your dogs, too. I'm happy to take dogs who have mild aggression problems with other dogs, but no human-aggressive ones, please.
A typical day
For cats, I like to ensure lots of playtime along with food and cuddles. It's super important for kitties to get out their natural hunting instincts, and I'll make sure they feel like a lion in the savannah, not a housecat in an NYC apartment. For dogs, I'll make sure they get some good steps in before tiring them out in the dog park when possible. Plenty of cuddles after any fun activities, too. For senior pups, of course, we can take it a little more slow and just enjoy the sights and smells outside.

Caring for your pet like my own!
Pet care experience
I've had cats and dogs in my life since childhood, and have taken care of my own cat (Mooney!) since she was a kitten. We never had less than 3 pets at a time growing up. I have the calm, patient temperament needed for even the spiciest of kitties or shy-est of pups. I understand their need for playtime and cuddles, and that each pet personality is different. I know how much joy a fuzzball can bring into your life, and it's my priority to make sure they stay happy and healthy while their favorite humans are away!!

Reviews

Always the best!

Elizabeth was fantastic with our cat, Lucas! She clearly understands cat language as she was able to get Lucas who is very shy and reserved to open up and play right away. She also sends lots of photo updates which is always fun to see and give that little extra peace of mind. Elizabeth was also very punctual and respectful of our space. I would not hesitate to book again! Thank you

Always the best with my cat, dependable!

Elizabeth is the best! Not only does she take great care of our cat, but she’s so helpful with any things that come up in our apartment like packages and watering plants.
