Availability
I am a teacher full-time. So I will only be available to tend to your fur baby on weekdays after 4pm and on the weekends. If housesitting on the weekdays, your pet will need to be able to be left for about 8 hours. Last-minute walk requests made less than 24 hours in advance are subject to a $5–$10 surcharge, depending on availability. This helps account for schedule changes and ensures I can prioritize timely care. Clients with long commutes are subject to a surcharge to account for additional travel time. 15–25 min: +$7 25–35 min: +$12

Safety, trust & environment
When caring for your pet, I always make sure they are well loved with lots of playing and treats. I like to take lots of pictures of your sweet pets and make sure you feel assured they are in good hands. When housesitting, new clients receive morning and evening update. During drop-ins and walks, I'll notify you of my arrival and departure. Quick let-outs (up to 10-minutes): $10/pup Your pet’s safety is my top priority during walks and visits, especially in warm or cold weather. Here is how I handle the varying temperatures for your dog’s care: 🐾 Heat Policy: Pet Safety First ✅ Temperature & Surface Checks: I check pavement temperature with the back of my hand to ensure it is safe before walks. If it is too hot, I adjust routes to shaded or grassy areas, shorten walks, or substitute with indoor enrichment and potty breaks as needed. ✅ Water Breaks: I monitor your dog for signs of heat stress (excessive panting, drooling, slowing down) and will take water breaks or return inside early if needed. ✅ Timing Adjustments: Walks during cooler parts of the day come on a first come first serve basis. If weather forecasts indicate extreme heat, please plan in advance. ✅ Walk Substitutions: On days when full walks are unsafe due to heat, I will provide a potty break, short sniff walk, and indoor enrichment to keep your dog engaged and comfortable. ❄️ Cold Policy: Pet Safety First ✅ Temperature & Surface Checks: I monitor outdoor conditions, including icy sidewalks and wind chill. If it is dangerously cold or slippery, I adjust the walk accordingly for safety. ✅ Time Adjustments: Walks may be shortened in extreme cold to prevent frostbite or discomfort. Remaining time will be spent indoors with play, potty breaks, and enrichment activities. ✅ Breed Considerations: Short-haired, small, senior, or young dogs may be more vulnerable to cold. For cold-hardy breeds, I’ll provide longer outdoor time as tolerated. ✅ Gear & Comfort: If you provide coats, booties, or paw balm, I’ll happily use them to help keep your pup warm and comfortable. ✅ Walk Substitutions: On days when full walks are unsafe due to severe cold, I will ensure your dog gets a potty break and then enjoy indoor play, snuggles, or enrichment instead. Your pet’s well-being comes first, and I will always use my best judgment to ensure they remain safe, comfortable, and happy during all weather conditions. Thank you for trusting me to keep your pets safe and happy, no matter the weather.
Information Elizabeth S. would like to know about your pet
As I have a dog of my own, I will only be accepting housesitting requests from clients with pets who are dog-friendly as my dog will be joining me. A meet and greet is required. Let me know of any behaviors or allergies your pet has, as well as any conditions I should be aware of. Any routines/procedures you’ve established with your pet that I should strive to maintain. I’m a visual learner, so written instructions at the time of the booking are immensely appreciated!
A typical day
I like to get on their level and engage them. Some of my favorite games to play with dogs are fetch and tug. I also like to get them outdoors in some way, whether just in the backyard, a dog park, or the closest hiking trail.

Always a good time
Pet care experience
Years of experience taking care of cats and dogs! Professionally I’ve been here on Rover for three years, servicing over 50 clients! I also have a dog of my own. I love to make sure your pet is having a good time and taking them on adventures. I look forward to hanging with your pet and making sure you feel assured everything is safe and okay while you are away. When housesitting, I always try to leave people’s homes better than how I found it, whether it be doing a bit of cleaning or bathing your pet. Any trips/adventures I’d like to take to your pet on in your absence is done with your 100% consent and is after I’ve gotten to know your pet really well.
