Leaving our pets behind is never easy, especially when they aren’t “just pets”—they’re family. This was the very first time we trusted someone outside of our family with our three rescue babies: a 9-month-old puppy, a 1-year-old kitten, and a 3-year-old cat, each with their own unique personalities, quirks, and needs. From the moment Elizabeth met them, she understood that building trust would take patience. She took the time to let each of them warm up to her at their own pace and treated them with the same love, kindness, and respect that we do. It was clear she genuinely cared about their comfort and happiness. Throughout our trip, Elizabeth kept us updated with messages and photos, which gave us incredible peace of mind. Every update reassured us that our babies were safe, loved, and receiving wonderful care. Instead of worrying about what was happening at home, we were able to fully enjoy our time away knowing they were in such capable hands. When we returned home, our pets were happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. That speaks volumes. I cannot thank Elizabeth enough for the care, attention, and love she gave our furry family. She exceeded every expectation we had and turned what could have been a stressful experience into a completely positive one. We will absolutely use her again and recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, compassionate, and truly exceptional with animals. Five stars simply don’t feel like enough.
We were super happy with Elizabeth as a dog sitter. She listened to our concerns and went above and beyond. She sent updates along with pictures. She left our home clean which previous sitters did not. Would definitely recommend to others and will be using Elizabeth again.
Elizabeth did a fantastic job with my 2 cats, including feeding, scooping the litter box, and giving my senior boy his daily medicine. It was such a comfort seeing the photos after each drop-in visit, and I could tell from the photos that they were very comfortable with her. I hope Elizabeth will be available again the next time I need a sitter! :)
Elizabeth went above and beyond caring for our cat. She was incredibly patient, attentive, and truly took the time to build trust with her. Elizabeth followed all care instructions perfectly, kept us updated with regular messages and photos, and took excellent care of our home while we were away. We came home to a happy, relaxed cat and felt complete peace of mind throughout our trip. Blown away does not truly capture how I feel about how well Elizabeth treated our little fur family. We had a friend cancel at the last minute and she strapped on her cape and saved the day! She stayed in our house, followed our ridiculous instructions, and treated our dog and three cats as her own. The harness was a little tight on our dog (she’s been living her best life and gained a little weight recently) and Elizabeth went out and got her a new harness. She sent pictures every day, checked in to let us know everything was good every day, and went above and beyond every day. This was by far the best River experience we’ve had. She’s amazing!!!!!

Pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I work part-time as a nanny in South Tampa, and my schedule is flexible—so I can stop in for quick check-ins or spend extra time with your pets as needed. On my days off, I’m happy to be there for longer visits or all-day care. I’m used to managing routines with care and attention, and I truly enjoy giving pets the love and consistency they need to feel safe and happy.

I care for clients’ pets the same way I would my own—with patience, attentiveness, and a calm, gentle approach. I take time to understand each pet’s routine, personality, and preferences, whether that means quiet companionship, energetic play, or extra care for senior or anxious animals. I follow instructions carefully, keep their environment clean and comfortable, and make sure they get the love, exercise, and engagement they need. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, seen, and well cared for while their humans are away.
A typical day
I love tailoring activities to each pet’s personality while making sure they get the mental and physical stimulation they need. For dogs, that might mean sniffy strolls, fetch, tug-of-war, or working on simple commands and tricks. For more mellow pups, I offer gentle play, puzzle toys, and plenty of calm companionship. With cats, I mix things up with feather wands, laser pointers, and cozy window spots for bird-watching. I believe regular stimulation is key to keeping pets happy, relaxed, and well-balanced—so whether we’re playing or just hanging out, I make every moment meaningful.
