Safety, trust & environment

Safety and comfort always come first. I keep a close eye on each pet’s behavior and body language to ensure they feel secure, relaxed, and happy. Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, I maintain a clean, calm, and welcoming environment. I follow all care routines exactly as you describe to keep things familiar and stress-free. I take time to learn each pets personality, give them space when they need it, and plenty of love and attention when they want it. Information Elizabeth R. would like to know about your pet

Before caring for your dog, I’d love to know: Any medical conditions, allergies, or medications Feeding schedule + any dietary restrictions Their usual routine (walk times, potty schedule, nap habits) Leash behavior (pulling, reactivity, nervousness, etc.) How they handle new people, dogs, or environments Any fears, triggers, or sensitivities What helps them feel safe and comfortable Crate training details (if they use one) Commands they know or training cues you’d like me to reinforce The more I know, the smoother and safer their stay will be!

A typical day

A typical day with me focuses on creating a calm, loving environment where your dog feels safe, seen, and cared for. I move at your dog’s pace — whether that means slow sniff walks, quiet cuddle time, gentle play, or enrichment activities that help build confidence. I keep routines consistent, use positive reinforcement, and make sure your pup always has breaks, water, and a comfortable place to relax. I’m very patient with shy, nervous, or rescue dogs and give them all the time they need to warm up. You’ll receive regular updates and photos so you know exactly how your dog is doing throughout the day.

Passionate Animal Care Giver

Pet care experience

I am a passionate and hard-working animal care professional with over three years of hands-on experience at Petsmart Pet Hotel. My journey began as a camp attendant, where I managed up to 15 dogs at a time, ensuring their safety and comfort. My commitment to maintaining a positive environment led to two promotions, rising to the role of experienced lead. In my positions, I was responsible for observing canine behaviors, addressing any issues proactively—whether it meant giving timeouts or coordinating with veterinarians when needed. My dedication to cleanliness and organization ensured our facility always provided a welcoming atmosphere for pets and their owners alike. I also enjoyed making daily checks to monitor the well-being of pets, ensuring they received proper care and attention. I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all ages - from energetic puppies and kittens to sweet loving senior pets - and often assisted with grooming and retail tasks as necessary. I have developed strong teamwork and leadership skills while managing a team to provide the best care possible, balancing tasks between animal care and operational necessities. I bring not only experience but also a compassionate approach to animal care, ensuring every pet feels loved and well-taken care of in a safe, clean environment.

Hi - Elizabeth has been pet sitting & taking my doggie Alfie on walks & also takes him to Doggie Day Camp at Petco for quite a while. She comes to my house while I'm out of town and gets him and I'm completely comfortable that Alfie is safe and sound in Elizabeth's care. He absolutely adores her. She's been a huge help to me and Alfie.
