Pet care experience
ER vet tech, insured & animal lover
I started my pet care journey as a dog bather in a grooming salon and eventually found my way into pet sitting while I was in school. I’ve now been a professional pet sitter for over five years and have 12+ years of experience in veterinary medicine, including emergency, ophthalmology, and general practice 🩺🤍 Animals have always been my comfort zone, and connecting with them comes naturally. I specialize in calm, in home care and I’m especially comfortable with senior pets, medication routines, and pets who need a gentle, steady approach 🌿 Whether your pet loves lounging all day or wants extra playtime in the yard, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at 🐶🐱✨ 🛡️ Fully insured for in home pet care

Elizabeth was so gentle and gave plenty of time for my dog to warm up to her. She made sure she knew all the usual routes my dog takes to make his walk comfortable.

Thank you Lizzie! Mimi loved your drop-in visits. Lizzie took care of our cat for 9 days and she followed all instructions. Thank you very much 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Elizabeth took very good care of our dogs and our home. She was very punctual, sent updates and pictures frequently. I felt very confident leaving my puppies with her. Thank you!

Fantastic as always! Our dogs and cat love Lizzie - she always takes such good care of them and gives regular updates on how they are doing.

Lizzie was on-time and took great care of our dog while we were out of town! The updates were greatly appreciated and it was comforting to know our pup was in good hands. We will definitely be rebooking in the future.

Elizabeth does great with our pups, and our home.

Schedule
Pet care is a regular part of my weekly routine. I thoughtfully schedule my days to ensure pets receive attentive, unrushed care and consistent visits. I keep my availability up to date and communicate clearly if any changes come up.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine and environment as familiar as possible. I follow all care instructions closely, double-check doors, gates, and feeding or medication schedules, and take time to observe each pet’s comfort and behavior. With my background in veterinary medicine, I’m attentive to subtle changes in appetite, energy, or behavior and communicate promptly with owners if anything seems off. I prioritize safety, cleanliness, and respectful care of both pets and homes, so clients can feel confident while they’re away.

A typical day
Each visit starts with making sure pets are comfortable and settled, followed by walks, playtime, or enrichment suited to their personality. I’m just as happy tossing a toy, enjoying a peaceful walk, or sitting nearby to offer quiet company, depending on what makes your pet feel happiest.

- Before care begins, I like to learn about each pet’s routine, feeding schedule, and any medications or health concerns. Knowing a pet’s personality, quirks, and comfort level with people or other animals helps me tailor care and keep visits stress-free. It’s also helpful to review house details such as leash locations, access instructions, and emergency contacts. Clear communication ahead of time allows me to provide safe, consistent, and thoughtful care from day one.
