I have 20 years of experience caring for my own kitty companions along with pet and house-sitting for others. [DOGS: While I've primarily focused on those of the feline persuasion, I do have experience dog-sitting and can accommodate small dogs for drop-ins, walks, and extended stays.] I've coaxed food, detangled mats, successfully snuck oral syringes, clipped claws, combed out fleas, popped pills, decoded morose meows, wiped butts, and scooped a whole lot of poop. I am well-versed in the subtleties of cat body language and highly perceptive of any small changes that might indicate illness or distress. I have experience caring for elderly cats with health issues including gastrointestinal, kidney disease, frequent UTIs, and respitory changes. I also have experience caring for cats who love to munch on plastic bags, leap into open fridges, sneeze in my face, and choose scraps of paper and cardboard boxes over premium catnip mice and luxury cat sofas. I'm responsible and dependable with a clean background check and driving record, own reliable transportation, and currently have few commitments and a very open schedule so frankly I would love nothing more than to get your mail, water your plants, and cuddle your cats (or dogs!) Available for full day and overnight stays or daily drop-ins and will happily provide detailed updates and photos. Safety, trust & environment
I will always be respectful of your space and your pet's needs. I am a non-smoker, won't raid your fridge, or ever bring another person into your home. For extended stays I have no problem with special requests like bringing my own bedding, avoiding using your fancy espresso maker, or not messing up your netflix algorithm--this is YOUR space and I don't judge boundaries. I will always find and check on your pet as soon as I arrive and right before I leave, and I'll double-check that every door and window is shut and locked. I'm willing to water plants, get mail, and I won't miss garbage day--also open to discussing additional housekeeping needs. I strive to leave your space clean and tidy so upon your arrival home the only thing you'll need to focus on is reuniting with your best furr-iend.

I'm delighted to recommend Elizabeth! She has provided excellent cat care at my home numerous times in the past 10 years. I have two cats, and they each have particular needs due to medical and/or aging issues. Elizabeth has administered medication, ensured that each cat is getting the right food (and not stealing the other's!), kept the litter box clean and water dish refilled, and anything else I ask of her. Most important, she connects with them - plays with them, cares for them with affection and a lap as desired, and meets them where they are. Elizabeth is reliable, takes notes and adheres to instructions, checks in with texts and photos, and is comfortable taking the right steps in an emergency. I highly recommend Elizabeth, and I'm certain she will provide stellar care for the cats, dogs, or fish who are part of your family!
Elizabeth has provided responsible and caring pet care for each of my cats over a 15 year time period. She truly loves cats, patiently making them feel comfortable and secure, even in difficult circumstances. Both of my cats have had health issues and she handled all of them skillfully, including topical and oral medication administration, special diets, flea treatments, and complications of aging including eating challenges and pain management. I know that my cats are in good hands with Elizabeth's care--receiving generous affection and playtime--and I have successfully recommended her to friends and family.

**IMMEDIATE AVAILABILITY** I accept as little as one-day prior reservations so if you are scrambling last-minute, I can be your go-to gal for a couple days, or even a couple weeks! Extended stays are no problem. If I'm not staying overnight I prefer afternoon and evening drop-ins/walks but can accommodate mornings on a case-by-case basis Currently on the job hunt so please let me cuddle your fur babies and water your plants instead of working on my resume

Underlying health concerns/allergies, ongoing symptoms, and what kind of specific care is needed, if any, including special food & daily medication. I will need local vet and emergency vet contact info [I can provide my own if no preference] and in case of emergencies things like favorite hiding spots, pet carriers, and best areas to shelter in place within the home
