A Dog Mom You Can Trust
Hi! I’m Betsy, and a lifelong animal lover, with a soft spot for rescue pups and lovable mutts. I’ve been pet-sitting since 2013 and truly enjoy making new furry friends...whether they’re energetic puppies or sweet senior dogs, or cuddly kitties. I’ve had my own rescue dog since 2017, and growing up, I shared my home with dogs big and small—everything from pugs and mini dachshunds to Great Pyrenees and mixed breeds. I understand how different each dog’s personality and needs can be, and I always treat every pet I care for like family. I’m part of the Triangle Canine Club (formerly Dog Moms of Durham), and I love connecting with other local dog lovers (and their dogs...obviously!!!). I’ve also volunteered with animal shelters over the years, including Saga Humane Society in Belize and Austin Pets Alive! in Texas. Whether your pup needs a walk, kitty needs a cuddle buddy, or you want someone trustworthy to keep them company while you're away, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. I can’t wait to meet your furry best friend!

I will always respect the pet owner's wishes - doggies are allowed on the furniture in my house, but if you prefer not to have your pup go on beds, couches, etc, then that's how it will be! I'm a big fan of regular communication with the owner to check in and let you know how things are going while you're away. In your home, I will treat it like I am in my home and make sure that any rules or procedures are followed.

Schedule
I work from home and have a fairly flexible schedule to go out for potty breaks and walks or the dog park if your pup is into that!

- If your pet has any special needs or behaviours, please let me know so that I can make the necessary accommodations while they are in my care. If your pet requires any medication, please let me know - I am comfortable administering oral medications (if they have any tricks or treats that help with this, that's super helpful to know!)
