Availability
I just moved to Minnesota from Ohio for law school, which I started this fall. While I do need to take time through the week to go to class, I am available for walking and drop-ins during the mornings, evenings and weekends. I am available for housesitting and boarding, though I will need to take time to study in between cuddle sessions with your fur babies.

Safety, trust & environment
Whether walking your dog or giving your cat some love, my biggest priority is your pet’s health and comfort. Whatever you believe is best for your pet I will accommodate happily. In both my work and personal life, I’ve seen my fair share of difficult animals and I can handle all sorts of problems. I’m experienced with excitable dogs, shy cats, and angsty farm animals. Please just let me know the temperament of your animal before my visit and any behavior of theirs that is of note. This allows me to prepare beforehand to ensure that your little love-bug gets the best care possible. My returning clients will likely notice that I’ve been on a boarding hiatus for a few months. My partner and I recently adopted another cat, Bats. While our newest furry roommate was becoming acclimated to our home, we wanted his environment to be as consistent as possible. Bats has settled in nicely and shown to be a sociable and polite little kitty. As such, we’re unpausing our boarding services and are excited to begin welcoming more feline friends again. As usual, we will only be boarding one cat at a time.

Information Elizabeth P. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know any health conditions, necessary medications, and the temperament of your animal before booking with me. Even the things that seem unimportant or haven’t been relevant in some time are good information for me to have. Has your pet ever experienced seizures? Do they have any allergies? Is your pet an occasional escape artist? These little details are so appreciated to have ahead of time! They make both my and your pet’s experience better.
A typical day
Depending on the temperament of your animal I would love to give them plenty of affection, lots of play-time, or comfort from a distance. More excitable pets will get plenty of play-time to tire them out and get their exercise in, while more timid fur babies will be approached and taken care of at their own level of comfort. If you have a cat, for example, that isn't interested in much interaction, that's totally fine. I can make sure they're doing well and feed them without infringing too much on their alone time!

As a former stable hand, I have a large amount of experience with animals both big and small. I’ve had both dogs and cats in my home for my entire life and have experience giving both oral and injected medication. I am also CPR certified for both cats and dogs, with my certification updated April 2025.

Eliza was so great with our cat! She sent us updates and pictures after every visit. We would recommend Eliza to anyone looking for a cat sitter.

Elizabeth was great to work with! She was incredibly professional and friendly, and did a wonderful job checking on my kitties. I looked forward to her pictures and updates every day!!

Elizabeth was a fantastic sitter! She was very informative and kept me in the loop throughout our time away. She took lots of cute pictures of Milo which helped since we missed him so much! 🥰 She even took packages inside for me which was very helpful! Thanks Elizabeth!!!
Eliza was great with our dog Bailey - she communicated very well and I can tell she gave him lots of love while we were away.
