Pet care experience

Dog walker, petsitter, animal lover

I grew up with family dogs and cats, and adopted my current dog in 2020. Professionally, I have several years of experience working at a dog daycare, worked a summer as a dog bather, and have been doing petsitting and dog walking for almost two years. My experience includes group and solo walks, administering medication, caring for elderly and disabled dogs, and otherwise playing with and creating enrichment time for dogs and cats. I have also helped take care of goats, geese, chinchillas, and a bunny. I love to meet new animals!

Pets

Safety, trust & environment

I am an attentive and careful petsitter, and prioritize not only keeping pets comfortable and entertained, but keeping their environments safe and clean. I love taking dogs for long walks, but short visits are fine for me too. I have experience with reactive dogs. I default to giving other dog walkers or passersby plenty of space even with more friendly dogs- I only allow the dogs I'm caring for to greet others if it is explicitly allowed or requested by the pet parents. l love taking care of cats and kittens, and respect any body language or boundaries they show. I have completed Pet CPR training through the American Red Cross, and more recently First Aid and Pet CPR training through ProTraining with instructor Bobbi Conner, certificate valid 08-24-2025 through 08-24-2027. I provide daily photos and videos of pets along with updates about walks and potty breaks, meals, and medications. (Small note- my Rover profile currently indicates that I haven't provided photo updates for all my visits- this is simply because some clients preferred to use other means of communication for their visits, so photos were provided elsewhere!)

Elizabeth did a great job caring for our two picky cats and was fantastic in communicating with us while we were away. Highly recommend!

We have an anxious dachshund, who is admittedly not the easiest dog to look after. Elizabeth looked after Frankie for over a week and made us feel very confident in the level of care and consideration she gave her. She listened to all instructions and communicated well, and kept our apartment tidy. I felt like we could really enjoy our time away knowing Frankie was in the best hands 😊 thank you Elizabeth!!

Elizabeth was so great with our cats Kurt and Mitski! She left detailed notes after each visit, took great pictures, and even stayed extra time to play with them and keep them company. She went above and beyond with our pets and I’d highly recommend her.
