A lifetime of experience with dogs
We started this as a summer job that we thought would be fun - well, we are still having fun! My husband and I have been raised with dogs and want the same for our kids!. When your dog comes to our home, they become a part of the family! Drop-ins are the same. It’s important to us that we meet our pups and parents to make sure it’s a good fit for all because we understand how unsettling it can be to be separated from them. Mickey and I have a solid understanding and respect for dog instincts and behaviors and enjoy all breeds. We have two children (one who is a future pet sitter, herself) and they love having furry friends over! We have a 4 year old Lemon Beagle named Rosie and she enjoy visitors as well! We have a huge fenced-in backyard with lots of things to smell and explore!

They were absolutely amazing in handling our dog and even tho it took a second for our shy guy to open up to them, they handle it with patience and understanding. They were available when we needed and communicated very well and efficiently. Thank you guys so much for taking care of our fur baby!!
Mickey was great! Very timely and attentive, sent lots of photos, and kept my dog comfortable and happy!
Wonderful and very dedicated to our boy joker. He has anxiety when we leave but hates the car. They were valley caring and informative on his every visit spending time and effort to ensure his comfort. Will definitely use them again

Schedule
I work as a school teacher and my husband works at home. My work hours end pretty early and this also allows us to have weekends and most holidays free. But someone is almost always home. We will have open hours for most of June-August :-)

Safety, trust & environment
As mentioned, we have a big, fenced-in yard and a very pet friendly home. If your dog is primarily an indoor dog, we will only take them out for walks, play, and potty! When your pet is in our care, they become one of our family members - lots of conversations, hugs and belly rubs, and exercise!

A typical day
We can go on walks around the neighborhood to smell all the news or chase squirrels and tails in the backyard, play with their toys and get lots of love and belly rubs.

- Any fears, special needs or behaviors are important to know. We will accept all breeds, we just ask that they are: comfortable with kids and other dogs, house-trained(puppies and seniors are exempt from that request), and in good health (aging pups with aging issues are completely ok- mobility issues aren’t a problem for us either!) Please make sure they have their shots and are on flea and tick and heartworm meds - this is a requirement! If they are staying with us, digging habits are good to know too, lol. ***We require that all out of town pet visitors supply proof of shots and flea and heart-worm meds BEFORE booking. Unfortunately, we have also had some misrepresentations of behavior in profiles - if there is an issue, we will contact you for pickup and refund your money. Furbabies must get along with children and other dogs. Please understand that this is for the safety of our family and clients. ***
