Your Pup’s New Best Friend!
I’ve been caring for pets and homes for more than 25 years, and animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with dogs, cats, rabbits, and reptiles, and have spent years caring for pets for friends, family, and through TrustedHousesitters. Earlier in my career, I worked at a veterinary office, which gave me hands-on experience with animal care. I’ve also volunteered with Homeward Bound Golden Retriever Rescue, helping with transportation, fostering dogs in need, and walking dogs at the rescue. That’s actually where I met and eventually adopted my own Golden Retriever and Mini Goldendoodle! My family has been active on TrustedHousesitters for the past two years, both as pet owners and sitters. Being on the other side of the experience has given us a real appreciation for how important it is to find someone trustworthy, responsible, and genuinely caring to look after your pets. We love giving that same peace of mind to other pet parents. I work full-time, but spending time with animals is one of my favorite things to do in my free time. Whether it’s going for a walk, playing, giving belly rubs, or simply keeping your pet company, I’ll treat them like they’re my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. ❤️

Lizzy is an extremely reliable and such a loving pet caregiver. I have left my small dog with her on multiple occasions and she is always readily available. She has gone above and beyond to help with making sure my dog was comfortable and well take care of when we were away. I trust Lizzy with my dog and based on the fact that she herself is a dog owner and lover of all dogs, she is the perfect Candace for Rover.
Lizzy loves animals and did a great job caring for my three kitties. I felt comfortable knowing they were in good hands while I traveled for work. She was responsive if I had any questions and reliable for meeting our agreed schedule.

Schedule
I work from home most days so am open to taking care of pets in the morning, lunch time, and in the evenings. I am available on weekends with a 1 week notice. I can also stay at your house and work remotely if you require someone to be with your pets throughout the day.

Safety, trust & environment
I care for every pet as if they were my own, giving them plenty of love, attention, and care. Whether in my home or yours, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and part of the family. I do not like kenneling dogs so unless this is a request of yours, your dog(s) will not be kenneled. They will have full roam of my house and will have access 24/7 to the backyard via the doggy door.

A typical day
I love being around animals and would give them lots of pets and attention. I like to keep them engaged and active which could involve walks, fetch, belly rubs, playing with their toys, and just being present when they are missing their parents.
