I adore dogs. I have two fenced-in yards, where my Rovers are able to run, explore, and luxuriate in the sun. A retired teacher (37 years in the district), I understand the importance of caring for others and showing compassion. I am honest, hardworking, and professional, and I view my responsibilities with great seriousness. My dog is precious to me, and yours are also. I have a modest, safe home with lots of space for playing, plenty of toys, and dog beds and chairs where the dogs can rest. I make my own dog food because I value high-quality nutrition. I go to bed early, and I'm up early. I especially enjoy getting outside with my dogs. Walking them eases anxiety and makes them feel comfortable in their new surroundings. I used to drive for Mobile Mutts, a wonderful organization that transports dogs from Cordell, GA to the Twin Cities, MN.

Schedule
It's really important to me that my dog receives lots of exercise and stimulation. I get her outdoors whenever I can, visiting nearby parks, where she can run around and explore.

I have two fenced-in yards and one small dog who is slowing down, but still very active. She enjoys scouting, chasing, basking in the sun, and barking at everything that moves.

A typical day
We love to play in the yard and in the house. We walk around the block, seeing the sights in my neighborhood, and sometimes we visit nearby parks.

- I prefer smaller dogs (20 lbs or lighter, so they get along with my Ginger), though I have made exceptions. There may be up to 4 dogs here at one time, so I consider their sizes and temperaments when I accept requests. My first priority is that the dogs are safe, loved, well cared-for and free from contagious illnesses. I welcome friendly, playful, dogs who like adventure, as well as senior dogs who spend lots of time reminiscing and rest! Puppies are a wonderful treat as well! I'm a retired teacher, so I have lots of time to devote to the dogs in my care!
