I do work during the week but my schedule allows me to do morning and evening/night visits during the week, and I’m completely free on weekends. Taking care of other peoples pets is my ‘fun’ job and the best part of my day!

I always do my best to follow my clients directions and provide animals with the same environment they’re used to. I always make sure to find out as much as I can about the animals normal routines, habits, etc.

I would like to know about your animals normal daily routine, what they like, what they don’t. Additionally, I always ask if the animal has any medications or restrictions, or if there’s any behaviors the owners want me to keep on eye on. For dogs it is also very helpful to know how they react to other dogs, just in case we’re out and about and happen to pass another pup!
A typical day
What activities I do with the dogs I watch really depends on the dog! I like being outside and going on long walks, but I’m just as happy to hang out on the couch giving belly rubs!

Hi, my name is Eli and I’ve had and loved animals all my life. I personally have had dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, birds, hedgehogs, snakes, and lizards. I’ve been dog walking and pet sitting since middle school in addition to my own years of experience caring for my own pets. I’ve taken in multiple rescue animals with various behavioral issues and rehabilitated them, and have taught my dogs basic obedience. I currently have two dogs, two cats, a bearded dragon, and a hedgehog. I have experience walking big dogs and helping puppies with potty training, and am not squeamish with any animals(snakes, reptiles, etc.). I absolutely love all animals and would be so happy to help take care of yours. I hope to be hearing from you soon!
