Never met a dog I didn't love

I’ve been around dogs my entire life. My first dog was an Airedale Terrier named Molly, who I grew up with, and our second dog, a Lakeland Terrier named Leila, was trained, socialized, and cared for by me. Caring for animals is something I’ve done for as long as I can remember, and it’s never felt like work. Before moving to Arizona I built up a steady roster of dog and house sitting clients, first informally for friends and roommates and then on Rover, where I earned a 5.0 rating across every stay. I’m now based in the Phoenix area and offering that same attentive, reliable care here. I don’t have any pets of my own right now, which means your pet gets my full attention while they’re in my care. Dogs are creatures of routine, so rather than board them in a stressful kennel, I keep them where they’re happiest: their own home, on their own schedule, with plenty of company. I can’t wait to meet your dog (or cat), I already love them! :)

Elizabeth was a wonderful companion for our dog. She gave him good exercise, brushed him and gave him attention in our absence. She was a very tidy guest in our home and left our home spotless for our return. I look forward to booking Elizabeth again!

Liz is the best!! She checked in often and sent pictures throughout the day so we could see that our pups were in good hands. The dogs seemed to love her, too, and got lots of walks and belly rubs! Thanks so much, Liz!!!

Liz is amazing, she went above and beyond our expectations. My dog loved her and we never had to worry. Liz sent multiple photos and updates on Fala’s well being and she took better care of my place than I do (sad but true). I would definitely recommend her to everyone and work with her exclusively in the future. She is a rockstar

Liz was such a pleasure to work with. I was nervous about leaving my dog with a sitter because she has separation anxiety, but Liz put my dog (and me!) at ease immediately and my pup had a great time on her overnight stay. Liz was punctual, friendly, and very communicative—I loved getting a picture of my smiling dog mid-stay. I highly recommend Liz as a sitter if you want your dog to be all smiles and wags after their night away from you!

Safety, trust & environment

I don’t have any pets of my own currently so your pet will be getting my full attention when they are in my care. Dogs are creatures of routine - rather than board your dog in a stressful kennel environment where they are around other barking dogs and only getting limited attention and love, let your pup stay where they are happiest: your home! I’m super clean and respectful, I will always leave your place exactly as I found it and will respect all house rules while I’m watching your pet. Happy to look after plants and general house sitting tasks as well, just let me know.

A typical day

Whether your dog is a couch potato or a tornado of energy, I will meet them where they are! Senior dog who likes a short stroll and then a snooze in the sun? I’ll be right there with them. Working dog who needs a few mile hike to burn off steam? I will take them on a vigorous hike in the local pet friendly nature reserves. Just let me know you and your pets preferences and I’ll come up with a routine that makes everyone happy.
