Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I live in Jeffersonville and work Monday–Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM in Berwyn, which allows me to provide early morning visits before work and evening visits after work. I am fully available on weekends and can often accommodate requests with just a few hours’ notice. I’m also happy to stay overnight during the week or on weekends when needed. I’m organized and dependable, and I schedule pet visits thoughtfully so every cat receives my full attention — whether that’s feeding, medication, playtime, litter maintenance, or simply companionship and comfort.

Safety, trust & environment

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow the pet’s established routine as closely as possible to minimize stress. I carefully review feeding schedules, medication instructions, litter or potty routines, exercise needs, and any special preferences beforehand. I provide enrichment, playtime, affection (if the pet welcomes it), and detailed updates so owners feel completely at ease while away. I am attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, or bathroom habits and will notify owners immediately if anything seems off. Cleanliness is important to me — I keep litter areas tidy, wipe food areas, and leave your home exactly as I found it. If caring for a pet in my home (if applicable), I provide a calm, safe environment with structured feeding, supervised play, and plenty of attention. I do not overcrowd pets and prioritize comfort and safety at all times. My goal is for your pet to feel secure, loved, and relaxed while you’re away — and for you to feel confident they are in responsible hands.

Information Elizabeth M. would like to know about your pet

I truly love dogs of all sizes — from playful puppies to mature and senior dogs. Every dog is different, and I enjoy learning their personality so I can tailor our time together in a way that makes them feel comfortable and happy. Before our first visit, I like to know: • Your dog’s personality and temperament • Their favorite walking routes or places they enjoy • How they are with other dogs • Whether 30 minutes or a longer walk is best for them • Where they enjoy being pet most • Whether treats are allowed during walks • Any behavioral triggers or special instructions The more I know ahead of time, the better I can ensure your dog feels safe, secure, and understood. Thank you so much — I look forward to meeting your pup!

A typical day

I tailor activities to each dog’s personality and energy level. I’m happy to take dogs on neighborhood walks, around the block, or to the dog park (if that’s part of their regular routine). I enjoy playing fetch, enrichment games, and providing structured exercise and mental stimulation. For lower-energy or senior dogs, I focus on calm companionship, consistency, and gentle walks. For higher-energy dogs, I’m comfortable with active play and engagement. I’ve cared for my friend Colleen’s rescue dogs for years — she originally had three and now has five. Each has unique needs, including medical and behavioral challenges. Freya has brain damage, Daisy struggled with housebreaking, and Rodney can be reactive. I handle multi-dog households with patience, structure, and love. They affectionately call me “Auntie Elizabeth.” I’ve also provided week-long overnight care for an Akita named Bella, maintaining her routine and home while her family traveled. I’m dependable, attentive, and calm — even in busy, multi-pet homes. Above all, I’m excited, passionate, and flexible to your dog’s specific needs. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, exercised, and loved — and for you to feel completely at ease.

Pet care experience

Animals have been part of my life since I was a baby. My first dog, Mixie (a Japanese Tibetan Spaniel), and I grew up together. She met me at the bus stop every day after school — this was before leash laws — and she was truly my best friend. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do; it’s who I am. All of my pets have been rescues, and each one has been treated as family. Over the years I have: • Raised and cared for rescued dogs and cats of all ages • Adopted my Maine Coon, Tigger, at 12 weeks old and cared for her through adulthood (she even traveled with me from Massachusetts to Pennsylvania) • Raised my Maine Coon mix, Abigail, from kittenhood through 16 years of age — attentive to senior care needs as she aged • Lived for 1.5 years in a multi-pet household with: – Chloe, a 3-year-old Pit Bull – Bear, a 14-year-old Pit Bull/Labrador mix (senior care experience) – Maggie, a tuxedo cat (cared for 10 years) – Max, a tabby (cared for 10 years) – Abigail, my Maine Coon mix During that time, I managed vet visits, medications, feeding schedules, litter maintenance, senior care, and daily backyard exercise and enrichment • Raised Brumby at my apartment — he was my emotional support dog and went everywhere with me, including daily trips to the on-site dog park and errands • Loved and cared for bonded rescued kittens Muffin & Cookie I am comfortable with: ✔ Vet appointments ✔ Administering medications ✔ Senior pets and aging care ✔ High-energy dogs (including young Pit Bulls) ✔ Multi-pet households ✔ Feeding routines & special diets ✔ Structured exercise and enrichment I treat every animal with patience, love, and respect. Their safety, comfort, and emotional well-being always come first. If you’re looking for someone responsible, experienced, and truly devoted to animals, I would be honored to care for your pets. 🐾 Reliable 🐾 Trustworthy 🐾 Flexible scheduling Please feel free to message me to discuss your pet’s needs!

I have known Elizabeth for over 10 years and she has been amazing with my dogs! Over the years I have had several with severe problems: aggression, anxiety, brain damage, housebreaking... she has been wonderful with all of them. She is caring and reliable. I highly recommend her caring for your pets.

Elizabeth M. is a kind, loving, gentle, and caring person. She loves animals and children. She is reliable, honest, and hard working. She has taken care of my 2 Akita's and 2 children on many occasions and has done an outstanding job. As most pet owners know Akita's can be a very challenging breed. She has stayed in our home a watched them for weeks at a time while we were traveling. She has handled all jobs we requested in an exceptional way. I trust and respect her to the fullest extent.
