I currently have cats so we clean the litter box daily, provide time for play, fresh water and food daily. We also try out new enrichment toys often just to see what helps. I’ve seen my very shy strays become more social and at home over the years and it’s such a good feeling. Building trust with animals can take time and that’s where my patience comes in. When I had dogs growing up they were walked once or twice a day, backyard to play in and we would run around in together, also daily food and drink as well as comfortable places to sleep.
