I’m currently working on a college undergrad degree that makes it harder for me to work in a job that is in the animal industry. Being a dog walker would allow me to make my own schedule to be able to go to school at the same time.

As coming out of a animal care giver job, I have gained the experience I require to ensure a pets safety at all times. I can ensure trust with a client that I can always bring their loved pet home after their walk. Having my own pets at home, I always make sure that they have my attention when I am watching them, and when they need something I always attend to them. I am a trusted family member when someone needs help with their pet or have any questions.

Knowing ahead of time if your dog requires specific directions when going for their walk would be really appreciated to ensure your pet recieved the best service and attention it requires.
A typical day
When working with dogs, I am able to provide them with great play, and stimulation while on the walk. I provide clients with pictures of their pet to update them on how their pet is doing.

Pet care experience
As someone who is going to school to eventually be a veterinarian. I have worked in the industry for 1 year and a half which is where I learned how to care for pets and truly know the meaning of quality care. I enjoyed every part of caring for over 40 dogs at a time which consisted of feeding, walking, playing with, and medicating. It was my job to lead a team to successfully give the proper care the pets needed every minute they were in our watch. I have pets of my own and really enjoy walking them so this part time job is perfect for me.
