Good Dog Sits

Pet care experience

Over a decade of experience training and caring for dogs! I've been training and caring for dogs since high school. As a four year long project I bred and trained dogs as emotional support animals for student athletes with career ending injuries. I have experience with multiple breeds and a wide array of behavior and personality. Don't let an inferior pet sitter disrupt your companion's lifestyle! I am familiar with standard and specialized techniques for training, walking, and excersizing. I want to work with your dog's typical behavior and routine. I'm a professional with passion. I love animals; furry, feathered, scaled... I will take the care of your dog seriously and love every minute of it, so will your canine! Book today for energetic, enthusiastic and experienced service!

Liz did a fantastic job taking care of Remi from for us! She was very professional and gave us constant updates! Remi is always hesitant with new people but Liz worked through it with him and they became great friends! Will definitely use her again!

We just got home from a weekend away and hired Liz to house and puppy sit for us. She did a FANTASTIC job. Twinkle and Madison were happy when we came home and she did a great job of keeping us informed of what was going on. She told us when she would leave and about when she'd be back, sent us photos of the dogs, and was someone we immediately thought we could trust with our pets. We will 100% look for Liz to sit for us again.

Safety, trust & environment

Safety is always a priority. I'm always cautious when entering and leaving a residence ensuring the property is secure and that no one escapes as I open doors. I've always been a big believer in leaving things better than I found it. I always wash and return any dishes I use and I often give the floors a sweep during my last visit, especially if you have a shedder.

Information Elizabeth M. would like to know about your pet

I'm usually pretty good at matching energy. It's always helpful to know the words you use with your pets. For example: If you tell my dog to stay she won't know what you want, we use the word "wait" for that command instead. The more you can tell me about your dog's typical behavior the more confidently I can gauge your dog's mood and desires during my visits.

A typical day

I love to join my furry clients in all their favorite shenanigans. I don't mind endless games of fetch and I can hold my own in a tug of war. I love the outdoors so I'm down for a walk in any weather. I like to incorporate enriching activities to keep your pet occupied to reduce anxiety while you're away.

I work full-time as an adoption coordinator; pets are my passion. Though I work an 8-hour day I can be with your pet(s) immediately before and after my shift. My days off rotate through the week from month to month but they are always consecutive. I can make accommodations in some cases and consolidate my breaks to make a mid-day drop-in for medications or potty breaks for senior and juvenile dogs.
