Pet care experience
I have been a pet owner my whole life, some cats, mostly dogs. I especially enjoy walking dogs! I volunteer at an alpaca farm for fun, and I have dog kennel and veterinary receptionist experience. I pet sit for family members who have both dogs and cats. I take animal care seriously and will do my best to keep your pet safe and comfortable.

Elizabeth (Liz) has been my go-to pet sitter for years. First with my boxer, and now with my two cats. You won’t find someone who loves animals more, and pets radiate towards her comforting energy. She is reliable, conscientious, respectful and just a lovely person. There is no greater feeling than knowing your pets are being loved and cared for when you are away. Liz provides that sense of peace for me.
When I go away for a day, Liz visits Jeremy (my black Labrador) according to our agreement; feeds and walks him, and spends time hanging out with him. She also feeds my cat, Lyly. The feeding bowls and equipment are always clean and in order when I return, but most importantly Jeremy is in good spirits and I know he was given love. I highly recommend Liz as she is first and foremost an animal lover, as well as trustworthy, punctual, and conscientious. Never once do I worry about my animals when I must leave them for extended periods of time.
Elizabeth is always my first choice for dog care. My dog has stayed with her three times now, a week each time, and I've been able enjoy my vacations worry-free. My dog loves Elizabeth and is always excited to see her. Every day, she takes him on walks and gives him a lot of play time and snuggles and love. She follows my instructions regarding food, treats, and medications. One time, she even stayed at my home to watch my dog while I was out of town, so I can say that she's a great house-sitter, too!

My dog is rather anti-social, so I prefer not to bring pets to my home. I can offer home visits, 2-3 visits per day, depending on your pet's needs. As I mentioned earlier, I love walking dogs and am happy to offer that service to you!

A typical day
Animals need exercise and fun! I enjoy walking dogs around my neighborhood as well as going for hikes at a nearby wildlife preserve. I can provide opportunity to explore and run in my fenced-in back yard. We can play tug-of-war, fetch, even hide-and-seek!

Availability
I work a part-time job Monday through Friday. My afternoons, evenings and weekends are flexible, especially over the summer. I walk my own dog twice a day.
