About Elizabeth M.
Communication
Dog skills
Safety, trust & environment
I care for pets primarily in the dog owners' home (since I'm in a rental), with advance notice so I can make accommodations for my own pup :)
Information Elizabeth M. would like to know about your pet
Please be as honest and open with me as possible, and let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors to keep in mind (i.e. is he or she dog friendly, small child friendly, okay with strangers, able to swim, a big puller, etc).
A typical day
Love playing with the Chuck-it ball, going to nearby parks, and am open to suggestions tailored to what your pup enjoys! Snuggle time is my personal favorite.

Pet care experience
I am a 36 year old professional, educated woman who has been loving and caring for dogs since childhood. I grew up with two German Shorthaired Pointers (family dogs) and assisted in the training of and caring for them until I left for college. During college in New York City, I worked as a live-in nanny and personal assistant to a family who had a Large Munsterlander. I was responsible for walking, medicating, and feeding their dog, Rufus, each day. In New York, I also did occasional paid dog-sitting for friends and neighbors. I have been solely responsible for my English Pointer’s healthcare, vigorous daily exercise, socialization, and training since 2013. I am friends with many dog owners, breeders, handlers/exhibitors, and I have volunteered at the Westminster Meet the Breeds event to help educate the public on the English Pointer breed. As a lifelong dog lover and a dedicated dog mom, I'm confident that your pup would be delighted to have me around in your absence! (I have never cared for cats before, and am unsure if I'd be the best choice for a kitty sitter, though.) I treat every dog as if they’re my own. I also LOVE puppies and have so much love and patience for them. I require a meet and greet prior to confirming a sitting booking. Subsequent meet and greets after the first must be booked as a drop in visit. Please note that key pick up and drop off is $15 per trip. Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have. Thank you!

Elizabeth was super sweet, and very attentive! She took us on short notice, and was fantastic! Great communication, very prompt & professional, while still being very warm and genuine. The dogs clearly adored her, and we will definitely book her again!

A thoughtful, caring, and competent young woman. He highly recommend her.
