I am a firm believer that the most comfortable place for an animal is a place. They already know. Taking care of an animal in its own home for an extended period of time reduces the stress for that pet. They get to keep up with their normal routine and don’t have to worry about fighting for attention from other pets. allowing them to stay in their own home means they have my full undivided attention!

Information Elizabeth M. would like to know about your pet

I really prefer to either have thorough printed, texted or emailed instructions on everything that I need to know. That being their feed schedule, medicine schedule if they have one, playtime schedule, if they have any behavioral patterns that I should know about. If your pet ever acts abnormal, I always reach out to follow up and ask if this is a normal behavior or thing that they do.

A typical day

I love playing games and walking dogs. It’s a lot of fun to watch them explore new smells on walks and try to get treats out of toys that contain them. If allowed, I would also take them to a dog park where they can play with other dogs.

Pet care experience

I’ve been taking care of all kinds of animals since I was 15. In my circle, I am the trusted pet caretaker! When caring for pets I have administered medication’s in all forms, i.e. a liquid via mouth, a tablet via mouth or in food. One of my favorite things when caring for animals is getting to watch them be unique and goofy in their own way! I am no stranger to taking them on walks, taking them to parks, picking up after in the yard, cleaning litter boxes, taking care of puppies/kittens or senior pets! I’ve done it all! My dad will tell you I should’ve been a veterinarian. *IMPORTANT NOTE* When I am housesitting, I never bring my own animals.

Elizabeth was absolutely amazing—truly everything you could hope for in a dog and house sitter and more. From the moment we connected, she made us feel at ease with her genuine love for animals. She was perfect with our dogs, giving them so much attention. It was clear they were happy and comfortable in her presence. She kept us consistently updated with messages which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She went above and beyond in every way- whether it was sticking to their routines, making sure the house was in great shape, or just putting in extra effort to ensure everything ran smoothly. You can just tell she truly cares. We couldn’t recommend Elizabeth more highly. She’s reliable, thoughtful, and incredibly sweet. Anyone would be lucky to have her as their sitter

This was our first time utilizing Elizabeth’s in-home services. During our meet and greet, Elizabeth was interactive and attentive asking questions and sharing her experiences. She asked for all instructions to be in written form (and as a “novel writing pet parent”, such a request was appreciated). Each time, Elizabeth arrived in a timely manner and was present as promised throughout her two day stay. Her communication was prompt and very helpful. In addition, we asked Elizabeth to feed fish and check mail in which she gladly did. Overall, our “sweet pea” seemed happy and stress-free and the house in order when we returned home. It gave us peace of mind knowing Elizabeth was there taking care of the things that matter most.

Elizabeth was the greatest help to me. She took great care of my fur babies. They hated to see her go. I will definitely ask for her again. Thanks so much Elizabeth!

Elizabeth stayed with our pups for a night in our home and everything went great! She showed up on time, was very responsive in communication, and overall super easy to work with.
