I usually do a short walk in the morning and a walk in the evening. In nice weather I will do walks and playtime during the day as well.

I try to first acclimate our pets to our home if they haven’t been here before by minimizing noise and distraction. I do have two cats but put them away in a separate area in the beginning as the animals adjust. Generally they have gotten along well but it helps minimize stress for any new animals.

Please let me know if your dog has certain tendencies while away from home. Some need extra coaxing to eat, some need extra comfort to feel less anxious and some have accidents when they are in someone else's home.
A typical day
Depending on the activity level of your dog I might just hang out at home and do several walks a day or go to the dog park. For the energetic dog I will play games or go on trail walks. If your dog is a social dog I can set up doggie dates with friends.

I've taken care if family and friends dogs and cats for years just for fun! Would love to watch yours too. I've had pets that have needed wound care and medicine. Available to give them the love and attention they need.
