Safety, trust & environment

For walks, I will always keep your dog leashed and be mindful of outside temperatures while we're out. For drop-ins, I’ll make sure they have plenty of fresh water, receive any requested meals or medications, and have supervised outdoor time. If I need to administer medication, I’ll make note of when it was given and observe them afterward to ensure they’re doing well before I leave. Their safety, comfort, and wellbeing are always my top priorities.

Information Elizabeth l. would like to know about your pet

- Please let me what I should expect from you furbaby. - what is their age? - What is a typical behavior? Allergies? - Any particular behavior to watch out for - Do they get along with other dogs? I will not bring my dog on walks, drop-ins or home sitting, but this to help me when taking them on walks.

A typical day

As a dog parent, I completely understand the importance of consistency in their schedule, which means I’ll adapt to your pet’s routine as much as possible while home sitting. Typically, I like to start my day with a 30–40 minute morning walk, followed by breakfast and then another walk if they need it—my dog always does 😂. Throughout the day, we'll enjoy plenty of playtime, enrichment activities, belly rubs, watching for squirrels or people walking by, and cuddles (if they're the cuddly type). I want to make sure that your pet feel comfortable, safe and loved while in my care, so I’ll do best to keep them entertained as I do with my dog. My goal is to keep their routine as normal as possible while making sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. Last walkies are typically around 8 PM before we settle in for the evening.

Pet care experience

Growing up, my family always had dogs, so I’m pretty comfortable around them and looking after them, too. I officially became a dog mom in 2019 after graduating from college when I adopted an elderly Chihuahua named Lucy. She passed away two years ago, but caring for her gave me experience with senior dogs and administering daily arthritis medication. I now have my girl Peaches. She will be turning 3 in August and is puggle who keeps me on a consistent walking schedule! Through caring for my own dogs and pet sitting for friends and family, I’ve gained experience caring for both puppies and senior dogs. I also regularly watch my brother’s 2-year-old Staffie mix who is the biggest baby and I love like my own fur baby. I love going on walks, hikes, and visiting farmers markets/local parks/coffe shops, so your pup will get plenty of love, attention, and activity while in my care. I also like to call myself a “master pill hider” because Peaches has definitely made me work for my skills when it comes to giving daily medications 😂 I look forward to meeting your fur baby and possibly you, too! I promise to send consistent photos and videos while they’re in my care, and I’ll always communicate if I notice anything concerning about their behavior. I’d rather ask questions than assume something is normal.

Elizabeth took care of my two dogs, 1 GS and 1 chihuahua mi c she was very patient and playful with them. It was mi first time hiring a dog-sitter and so I was very nervous to do so, she was very reassuring and communicated with me through the days that I was gone for. She is really kind and sweet!

Elizabeth is an absolute lifesaver! She took wonderful care of my cat while I was on vacation and has also watched my two dogs. I always have complete peace of mind knowing my pets are in her hands.

Elizabeth took excellent care of our little girl! Usually when we go on vacation we send our pup to family's houses but no one was available so we decided to try something new. Elizabeth was so good at communicating with us and sending pictures and videos of the pup so it was almost like she was there with us :)
