Safety, trust & environment
My parents have always been adamant that animal-care comes before all other duties, so ever since I bought my own puppy (ironically with money I made pet-sitting) at 13 I have made caring for her the first thing on my morning schedule. Additionally I always make sure to give my dog specifically but also the other two dogs my family owns, plenty of exercise and enrichment through walks and playtime. I also make it a point to brush my dog every day since her hair frequently knots otherwise. All these habits are reflected in my care for my client's pets, if not magnified by my sense of duty to ensure the safety and well-being of the pet I have been entrusted to care for.
Information Elizabeth L. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog has any particular aversions to things (children, cats, etc.) just so that I am aware of it when I take them out. Otherwise I just need to know how much to feed them, how to administer any mediation they may need, and where their favorite spots to walk are!
A typical day
I love to give dogs the opportunity to smell all the smells wherever I walk them. I liken it to their version of reading a newspaper and know it complements the physical stimulation of walking with mental stimulation that will leave them feeling satisfied and properly exercised. I also love to play fetch, soccer, tug, chase etc. Additionally I love to give the pets "person-time" when their owner is away so I often will just sit with the pets and read or talk with them so that they don't get too lonely while there isn't a person coming home to them every night. I make a point of this especially when the pet isn't as inclined to go for long walks or play.

Eight Years' Providing TLC for Dogs
Pet care experience
I have been pet sitting since I was 10 years old! I absolutely love animals, especially dogs and have grown up in a dog household (my family currently has three dogs of our own-a lab/aussie mutt, a mini-aussie, and a doodle). I have experience caring for puppies, as well as basic training. Additionally I have experience caring for senior animals as well as dogs with special dietary requirements. Caring for dogs is a true passion of mine. I look forward to helping you with your doggy needs.
Cat care experience

Elizabeth also cares for cats. Learn about their cat-specific care experience.
Reviews
Beth is great with all animals and has taken excellent care of our pets for us for years! Our dog goes to her house while we are away and is always very excited to be there and to see her! Beth also comes to our house to take care of our cats when we’re away. Even our skiddish cat who always hides for company comes out to greet her and get her loves when she comes over!
