Safety, trust & environment

I always require an online Meet & Greet before every booking to ensure we are a great fit. I maintain secure environments by double-checking leashes, securing gates, and pet-proofing spaces to prevent accidents. When house sitting, I respect your property as if it were my own. I follow your precise care instructions, ensure doors and windows are securely locked. I provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is in great hands. In the rare event of an emergency, I am familiar with local 24/7 veterinary clinics and am backed by the Rover Guarantee.

Elizabeth was a wonderful pet sitter to our three dogs, Freddy, Finn, and Fletcher, while my wife and I were away for a long weekend. Our dogs are not an easy pack! One is a senior and one is somewhat high strung, but it was clear from their demeanor when we arrived home after our trip that they felt happy, safe, and loved and had had a terrific time with their new friend. During our trip Elizabeth was very communicative, sending updates and pictures galore as she took the gang for long walks, park playtime, and lounged at home with the pups once they had been well exercised. Additionally, she left our house immaculate. Prior to our return she swept and mopped the floors, washed the towels and sheets, and cleaned the kitchen. It was spotless when we arrived home. It's not easy to find someone we trust with our beloved furry family members. We are so grateful to have met Elizabeth and will absolutely ask her to return the next time we go away. If you have the opportunity to have her stay with your pets you should absolutely hire her. You and your furry family will be grateful that you did.

Liz was amazing. She was communicative, friendly, organized, asked the right questions, and gave our animals so much love. They were def spoiled while she was here. She sent me so many pictures of them daily. We got back to a clean house with happy animals, and she left us beautiful messages and flowers :). I highly recommend Liz, and would welcome here back anytime.

Dear Pet Parent, Welcome! To ensure your furry family member has the safest, most comfortable, and stress-free stay possible, please take a few moments to review this safety profile. Every animal has a unique personality, and understanding their specific boundaries helps me prevent stressful situations and keep them entirely safe. Please share your pet's specific needs regarding the following areas: 1.Is your pet reactive on a leash when seeing other dogs, people, or cars? 2.Do they possess a high prey drive or a tendency to lung at small animals? 3.Do they show resource guarding behaviors over food, toys, treats, or territory? 4.Do they prefer slow, parallel-walk introductions with new dogs, or must they remain the absolute only pet in the environment? 5.Do they have a history with children, and what is their comfort level? 6.Are they easily startled by sudden movements, loud noises (like thunder or fireworks), or high-energy play? 7.For ultimate safety, I always create a designated "safe zone" or crate space where your pet can retreat. This is a strict quiet zone where they will remain entirely undisturbed by children or other dogs. 8.What specific signs does your pet display when they begin to feel anxious or stressed? Recognizing subtle shifts—such as lip-licking, yawning when not tired, pacing, or a tucked tail—allows me to step in early and move them to their safe zone before they become overwhelmed. 9.The contact details for your pet's regular vet. 10.The name and phone number of the nearest 24-hour emergency animal hospital. 11.Your explicit written consent authorizing emergency veterinary care and any specific financial limits in your absence. Thank you for partnering with me to prioritize your pet's safety and happiness! Elizabeth Lafica
