Caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. From a young age, I’ve surrounded myself with pets and found genuine joy in looking after them. Over time, that passion grew into a lifestyle—whether it’s making time for long walks, learning more about dog behaviour, or helping friends and family with their pets. Pet care isn’t just a job for me—it’s something that fits seamlessly into my everyday routine and brings a real sense of purpose. I love building bonds with the dogs I care for and making sure they feel happy, safe and well exercised 🐕

Safety, trust & environment
I understand how important it is to trust someone who’s entering your home and caring for your dog. That’s why I take every step to give owners complete peace of mind. I’m fully insured and DBS checked so you can feel confident that your home and pet are in safe, responsible hands. I treat every home with the same care and respect as my own, always locking up securely and following any instructions you leave. Trust is at the heart of what I do and I’m always happy to meet beforehand to help you feel completely comfortable.
Information Elizabeth K. would like to know about your pet
Before walking any dog, it’s really important for me to get to know a bit about their personality and needs. I always ask about their age, breed, energy level and any health issues or injuries. It’s also helpful to know how they behave on the lead, how they react to other dogs or people and whether they have any fears or triggers (like loud noises or traffic) I like to know if they’re allowed treats or have any dietary restrictions. This helps me tailor the walk to suit them perfectly and make sure they’re comfortable, happy and safe from start to finish.
A typical day
A typical 30-minute walk is all about giving your dog a fun, stimulating break in their day. We’ll head out to a safe, local route whether it’s a nearby park, a quiet trail or familiar streets they enjoy. I always tailor the pace and activities to suit each dog whether that’s a steady stroll, a bit of playtime or plenty of time to sniff and explore. Along the way, I reinforce basic manners like sit, stay, wait and I always keep water, poo bags and treats on hand. At the end of the walk, your dog is returned home happy, exercised and ready to relax.

Pet care experience
I’ve always had a deep love for dogs, which led me to gain hands-on experience in a variety of dog-related roles. I’ve worked in a rehoming centre, with Guide Dogs, a Pet Store and at a dog groomer’s, all of which gave me a strong understanding of dog behaviour, body language, and individual needs. I also completed a Level 2 Animal Management course, which supported my general animal care knowledge. These experiences have helped me feel confident working with dogs of all breeds and most temperaments. I’m passionate about making sure every dog enjoys a safe, stimulating walk 🐾
Reviews
When Beth came to take our daft doodle for a walk, Brown Dog's tail could whip up a bowl of cream she was always so excited to see her. She knew she was in for a good walk! On her return, she was slow and clearly longing for a nap on her bed. Beth has a great rapport with animals and is a brilliant dog walker who not only plays and gives cuddles, but is sensitive to a dog's individual needs. Ours was a bit reactive around other dogs but Beth would carefully consider whether an introduction was possible or just carry on walking. Beth was a huge part of our dog's life for years, until she went over the rainbow bridge.
