I work from home, so I am home majority of the day Monday through Friday. Working from home gives me the ability to care/ take your dog on walks during breaks and I love having a furry friend by my side while I work. I am usually in town during the weekends, but occasionally travel.

I care for pets in my home/clients home by first making sure they are comfortable in the environment. I make sure to have a favorite toy or treat of there’s to ensure they are comfortable and know I am there as a friend. I will make sure they have plenty of fresh water and food, and reward them for good behavior with treats. I will take your dog out at least four times a day and get them plenty of exercise through walks and playing outside.

Let me know if your dog has any certain behaviors I should be aware of and their comfort level with new people. It is also helpful to know how well they get along with other dogs.
A typical day
It is important to me that the dog gets both mental and physical exercise. For physical exercise I will take them on walks, run with them along the water, take them to the dog park, or play fetch with them. For mental stimulation, I like to practice basic training and tricks.

I’ve taken care and walked dogs for about 5 years now. I have two dogs of my own and have been through puppy school with both of them. I learned a lot about taking care/properly handling and walking dogs. I have also dog-sat for my friends dogs in the past while they were on vacation. I absolutely love dogs and would do anything for them, even one that’s not my own!
