Availability
I'm a dance teacher and work 5 days a week teaching classes mostly in the late afternoons/evening. I usually teach between 3-4 hours a day and therefore I am usually available during ideal meal times for feeding pets and dog walks. My Saturdays are the only long day I have of teaching, which is from 9am-1:30pm.

Pet care experience
My pets have been my children. Now I have a toddler and my resilient kitty is still with us (at 17 years old). I always cared for my pets with such attention to detail and I feel that has paid off well for being a mom. When I got my dog in 2010, I took every step to train her properly and make sure she received the care and attention she needed. She completed beginning puppy training, intermediate puppy training and advanced puppy training all before age 2. I am familiar with the gentle leader and have used it a thorough amount. I find it magical in how it works and a great alternative to choke collars. I can’t imagine life without pets. I’m often the person that bonds easily with animals everywhere I go. Quite frequently people will comment, “Oh wow! She/he usually doesn’t like people, but he/she seems to like you!” I will never forget the poodle down the street. She only liked two people ever and I was one of them! I rescued my cat in 2008 when she was 6 months old from the ASPCA. She’s a big cuddler and I sometimes have a hard time falling asleep without her. I’ve trained her how to sit and come-when-called. I grew up watching a street performer known as the “Cat Man” and dreamt of one day becoming like him. I would have several pet cats who all had different talents. One may be jumping through a ring of fire. Another might be walking a tightrope. Since then, my dreams have grown and changed, but I will always remember that performer. My cat simply keeps me happy and I do my best to keep her happy, too. My 4-year-old daughter is wonderful with animals and loves helping out with pet care when she is with me. We make a great team!
Reviews

Elizabeth is always there when I need her and has helped during emergencies when I couldn’t get home. I 100% trust her with my home and pets. She always goes the EXTRA MILE!

Elizabeth stepped up to the plate when I got stuck out of town and couldn’t make it home on time. She is a life saver and very compassionate sitter!

As always the sit was perfect and I did not worry about my animals for one second. When I got home everyone was happy and healthy and the house was clean as can be. Another perfect sit!!!

Elizabeth is an amazing pet sitter. She’s a kind, compassionate animal lover who always goes the extra mile. I can leave home and never have to even think about anything but enjoying my vacation and the animals and house are all perfect when I return. On this last trip there was a snafu with the dog food delivery and I contacted Elizabeth in a bit of a panic but she had taken care of it days before. That’s the kind of person she is.!
