5 ⭐ Care Pro - Seniors/Special

Pet care experience

Hi Rovers! Welcome to the Grand & Graham Pets page. 🔗 Check us out on IG ➡️ @grandgrahampets My name is Liz and I would be happy to care for dogs. With several years of experience as a seasoned Rover dog sitter and SFSPCA Volunteer, I can handle the basics as well as dogs that need more physical and emotional support. Some of the behaviors I work with are separation anxiety, reactivity, medication management, cognitive decline, and incontinence. Note: Grand & Graham Pets does not currently work with puppies under 1 year old or dogs who are in training. If you are actively training your dog, I encourage you to work with a trainer who also offers pet-sitting services. Not sure if this applies to you? Shoot me a message, and we can chat through it!

Liz pet sit for my high strung, large border collie mix. She did an incredible job becoming friends with my dog in her in-home visit before the pet sitting. She paid close attention to my dog while she was staying and was very collaborative before, during, and after the stay. I think the most positive thing I can say is that, despite this being the first time my dog was home without me and her being a scaredy cat, my dog calmed down very quickly when I got home. It was like I was gone for a few hours, not days. (Also, Liz left my place cleaner than when I gave it to her!)

Liz was great with our dog, we needed her for a last minute short trip and she made it really easy for us to schedule and was flexible with timing which was so helpful. Our dog can be nervous but she really knew what she was doing with treats and positive reinforcement, and when we got home he didn’t seem like he cared we were gone!

Elizabeth provided excellent care for our senior Schnoodle in our home for the long weekend we were away. From her zoom interview, to her meet-and-greet, to her detailed intake form, she was so organized and thought of everything. And to boot, I think she left our house tidier than we left it. I would definitely use Elizabeth again, Rupert the dog was well cared for and seemed unphased by our absence due to her presence.

Liz is the absolute best dog walker/sitter we’ve ever had. She is incredibly warm, trustworthy, and gentle with our 10 yr old dog-reactive dog. She sent us several pics & updates while we were away to calm our nerves, and left our house tidy & clean (even taking the bedding off and washing the sheets for when we came back!) Highly recommend ✨
