My husband Gareth works from home 5 days per week and I am available to devote all my time to looking after your dog. We have a secure garden surrounded by fields and public footpaths. We are also close to Bradgate Park and loved to take our dogs for long walks there.

Pet care experience
We are a family of dog lovers. My husband Gareth and I have had dogs all of our lives. We have three girls (age 7, 4 and 2) who adore dogs and love to be their best friend and playmate - and they love snuggles! They also understand that dogs sometimes need space. Within the last year our two elderly fur babies have crossed the rainbow bridge and we would love to welcome your dog into our family home. We have a lot of love to give and an abundance of time.

We contacted Elizabeth at very short notice and honestly couldn’t have asked for anyone better to look after Romeo. She was incredibly quick and reassuring with her replies from the beginning, and Romeo clearly had the best time with her. She kept us updated throughout his stay with lots of photos, which was such a lovely touch and completely put our minds at ease. We felt totally comfortable knowing he was being so well looked after. Elizabeth, Gareth and their girls are the nicest family you could wish to meet. From our first meeting it was evident to see they were genuine people with a real love and passion for the animals that come into their care. Rascal can be a handful being a Jack Russel but Elizabeth and Gareth are well experienced and completely confident with all kinds of dogs. They clearly are invested in making everyday special for their furry visitors. It made our holiday knowing Rascal was in safe loving hands and receiving daily photos and updates of his adventures enabled us to fully relax while we were on holiday. Their 3 girls are so beautiful and loving and have been brought up with animals knowing when to play and when to respect they need space. Rascal was so happy in his holiday home which he shared his time there with another furry friend, something we never considered before but Elizabeth and Gareth ensured they both had a wonderful time together. It made our hearts melt. My only worry was that Rascal had such a great time he wouldn't want to come home with me. I will definitely ask Elizabeth and her lovely family to have Rascal again.
We were so happy that Rocco had a great time. The care and commitment shown by the family was evident in the regular updates and photos and it completely put our mind at ease. Rocco never eats normally when we leave him, but we had photos of him eating right from day one! He was very well looked after, and it was nice to know he had the company of children too, as he spends time with children usually. The children showed care and patience with him and one of our favourite pics was Rocco enjoying storytime. We also had lots of updates of his walks and how he'd got on particularly on his first night. Would not hesitate to use Liz and family again, its hard to put into words the peace of mind or gives us knowing we have the option of a regular sitter!
