I have no breed preferences whatsoever. All are welcome! All I would like to know ahead of time if a pet has any medical or health concerns so that I can properly address and handle them. Also, any quirks!
A typical day
I am near Onondaga Lake which is a great walking circuit for dogs or adventurous kitties, on leash or via stroller. At home, I love to play with pets in their natural habitat and make them feel comfortable while their owners are away.

Pet care experience
For 5 years, I have been a popular pet sitter for professors & friends and am now a proud pet owner too. Most of my services have been outside of Rover, but I am getting back into it! I care immensely about pets and care for them with much compassion and understanding. I have experience with high energy friends that need long walks with lots of exercise and friends who are laid back and just want a fellow couch potato. I am incredibly flexible; I will care for both cats and dogs (and occasionally other critters too) on just about any schedule as long as I have prior time to plan for it. I personally like to travel and hike, so if you have an adventurous friend they are welcome to join me! I also stay in touch frequently via text so I can best understand and care for your pet, because no one knows them better than you!

Elizabeth is a beloved dog-house sitter in our household. I have entrusted my dog and home in her care for weeks at a time, making possible my absence with confidence that all is well at home. She is great with our dog who is very energetic and loves lots of walks and attention. Once when she stopped by the house, our dog was thrilled to see her, confirming what I already know about my dog's affection for her. I recommend her most highly, she is reliable, responsible and really friendly. Any trip that I have looming, I think of Elizabeth first to take care of my dog and home. She also worked for us as a dog-walker in the summer and did a great job there too. She is simply wonderful!
