VIP farm stay
I live on a six acre farm. The dogs are free to run in a FULLY FENCED 1.5 acre yard. I am a retired pediatrician and my husband works from home. We both have owned animals our entire lives. I studied animal behavior at UCSD and worked for a year as a veterinary assistant. We currently have two dogs and two cats that we have raised since they were babies. Because we are working from home, we spend all of our time with the dogs. They have freedom to go in and out as they please with supervision. . In addition to our main house, we have an adjacent separate 800 Square foot studio where we work and it gives the dogs space to run when it is raining outside. We also remodeled our barn and turned it into a game room. The floor is finished and it provides another 800 square feet of play space. I am currently boarding one or two dogs at a time so I can make sure the environment is safe. I often sleep with the boarding dog at night. I have slept on the ground and on the couch to help dogs sleep through the night when they are scared. I added a full bed in the studio so I can sleep there if I need to. I have also hand fed dogs and made them special meals when they are too anxious to eat.

Ratings and reviews
Our dogs have stayed with Elizabeth many times and they always seem to enjoy their time! Great location, quiet with lots of open space for pups to play.

Our pup had a great time with Elizabeth and Guillaume. They are very responsive and sent us updates. Beautiful location with lots of room to roam.

Beautiful property and my dogs seemed happy to be there.

Elizabeth and Guillaume are absolutely wonderful! They cared for our dog Lada on their farm while we were away for a week, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Pickup and drop-off were smooth and easy, and every day we got pictures and little videos of Lada having a blast, which gave us so much peace of mind. She really bonded with their French Bulldog, Frenchie, and we were so excited to see her remember everyone on the farm since we boarded her there two years ago. She felt right at home. She came home happy, healthy, and tired from all the play and farm adventures. It’s clear she was well cared for and loved during her stay. Highly recommend — five stars all the way!

Otto LOVES going over to Elizabeth and Guillaume’s place! He is always so tired after running around all the free space with the other pups. They’re also always giving lots of updates with pictures and videos! We know we never have to worry about Otto in their care!

Elizabeth and Guillaume are amazing Rover hosts! Our bernese mountain dog truly is so excited to stay with them! Excellent communication, lots of pictures and videos shared while we are away! Highly recommend them for a worry-free experience for you and a wonderful time for your dog❤️❤️🙏🌟

Schedule
My full time job is watching the dogs and my husband works from home. The dogs play outside most of the day with us and sleep inside at night on couches.

Safety, trust & environment
The dogs are supervised 24/7. They are almost always allowed to go in and out as they please. When they are outside, we are with them making sure they are playing nicely and not getting into anything unsafe. We also use the chuck it tennis ball, frisbee and other balls to play fetch.

A typical day
The day starts around 7am with a potty break and then breakfast. Dogs are fed separately and under supervision. No food is left on the ground. After breakfast, I love to play in the yard with the dogs. We play fetch and run around for about an hour. Afterwards, the dogs can continue to play outside or go inside and rest. We will repeat this at lunchtime and throughout the day. Dinner is around 5pm. Bedtime is usually around 9pm and the dogs come inside and sit on the couch or dog beds and watch TV with us. They then sleep on the couch, or on a bed. If a dog cries in the night and can not calm, I will sleep with them. We have a full size bed in the studio suite so I can sleep with the dogs who are anxious. I suffer from PTSD myself, so I understand their anxiety. The dogs help me as well. We also will sometimes take the dogs for walks at the lake, parks or trails. In winter, we have a treadmill that I use and the dogs sometimes jump on and try it out too!
