Liz is amazing. She took great care of my boy while he stayed with her and her sweet dog Chester. She provided constant updates, tons of photos, and was so responsive ! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a top notch dog sitter.

Schedule

I do freelance work and make my own schedule, so I have plenty of time for taking care of your pets, and they are my top priority!

Where your pet will stay

Home characteristics

Lives on a farm/ranch
Has a fenced yard
Non-smoking household
Has 4 dogs
No children present
Dogs not allowed on bed
Dogs allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 0-2 hours

Safety, trust & environment

Safety is #1. I have a fenced yard attached to the house, and the property also has a 6' fence all the way around. Doggie door access to the yard is on a case-by-case basis. I have a system for introductions so no one gets too overstimulated. Dogs are always fed in separate areas. I don't leave food out, but I will offer food several times a day if your dog is used to always having food available. There are bugs where I live, so please have your pet on a reliable flea & tick preventative. 24-hour emergency vet info is saved in my phone. In the unlikely event of a problem, I will contact you immediately.

Pets

A typical day

Dogs will have plenty of trips outside to go potty, explore, and run around. They can play with my dog and I'll give them lots of attention. We have a lot of doggie toys and beds. I will send pictures every day. For drop-ins /walks, I'll follow owner instructions, refill your pets' water, provide food if needed, water plants and things like that if you wish. If time remains, I will play with your pets, walk some more, or whatever is their favorite activity. There is no additional charge for small animals like hamsters, turtles, etc., if their care can also be accomplished within the time allowed.

Detailed instructions on your pet's routine are welcomed. When and how much does your pet eat? Can they have miscellaneous treats, or only what is provided by owner? Should your dog be crated if I leave for a little while? Does your pet have any behavioral issues? A note regarding drop-ins and walks for dogs: I require animals in my care to have at least 3 opportunities per day to relieve themselves. Unless your dog has access to a fenced yard, pee pads, or another person (including owner) will also be providing care on days I am booked, please book 3 or more visits per day. Thank you for understanding.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
