How I Care for Pets in My Home: 🐶 Comfort & Supervision – Dogs are treated like family, allowed on furniture and my bed if they choose, and always supervised during yard time. 🏡 Safe, Fenced-In Yard – Pups enjoy unlimited outdoor play in my fully fenced yard, with at least 1-2 walks per day for extra exercise and enrichment. 📸 Daily Updates & Photos – Owners receive regular updates and adorable pictures of their pup’s adventures. 🗓️ Structured Routine – I follow each dog’s usual feeding, potty, and sleep schedule to maintain consistency and reduce stress. Since I do not currently offer pet sitting in clients' homes, all services are based in my home, ensuring a cozy, structured, and familiar environment for every dog I board. 😊🐾

Information Elizabeth G. would like to know about your pet

No breed preferences, we love and have experience with a wide variety of pups! At this time, we are unable to provide care for pups that are a young age. We would like to know the dogs temperament towards other dogs, animals, and other people. We would also like to know how your dog usually reacts when they're away from their owner. Are they ok with being home alone for a little while? To make sure your pup is comfortable, we'd also like to know your pups regular feeding and bathroom schedules!

A typical day

Walks around in residential Beacon! Fetch, tug of war and basking in the sun in our backyard! Unlimited belly rubs and back scratches! Couch and bed snuggles!

Welcome to Beacon Bark House!

Pet care experience

Hi! I’m Elizabeth of the Beacon Barkhouse and I co-run pup care with my partner Joe! 😊 I pride myself on providing endless cuddles and head scratches. Your pup will get daily pictures of all our adventures, so you’ll always know they’re happy and well cared for. 🐶 If you choose me to care for your dog, you can rest assured they’ll be safe, loved, and treated like family. ❤ I don’t have any pets of my own and only board one dog (or sibling pair) at a time for personalized attention. Currently, I’m only accepting boarding requests for stays of 3+ days to ensure I can get to know each pup and fit their care into my work-from-home/office schedule. Bookings open about a month in advance, and for longer-term requests, availability may be uncertain. I live with my partner, Joe, so someone will always be with your pupper! For more info or any questions, feel free to reach out—I’d love to meet you and your pup! 🐶 Important Note: If you have a young puppy who requires constant supervision, I may not be the best fit. At this time, we are unable to care for younger pups below 3. What Your Pup Can Expect ✔️ Fenced-in yard with supervised playtime ✔️ Unlimited outdoor time + 1-2 walks per day ✔️ Furniture & bed privileges (snuggle time encouraged!) Meet & Greet To ensure the best fit, I offer in-person meet & greets where you can tour my home, see the yard, and check out the Wall of Wagging Tails featuring past pups! Virtual meet & greets are also available for those who need immediate boarding or don’t live locally. I look forward to meeting you and your pup! 🐾

Our Bruno had a wonderful time the week he spent with Elizabeth and Joe. He came home happy and relaxed. He’s 8 years old and does not like other dogs, so we really appreciated the attention they gave him and the frequent photo updates. Definitely will want to have him stay here again.

This was a "test run" for us as this was our very first time entrusting someone with our dog, Lucy. Elizabeth is kind, a great communicator and clearly loves dogs. She kept us notified throughout the overnight stay with photos and messaging through the Rover app. Lucy clearly loved her time with Elizabeth, and we will definitely be working with Elizabeth again in the future. HIGHLY recommended. Thanks Elizabeth!

This is a 6 star review because 5 stars isn’t sufficient. Elizabeth and Joe at the Beacon Bark House were the ultimate hosts while watching my dog Roadie. All his needs were met by providing his exercise and mental stimulation as well as providing comfort and love in our absence. We were kept up to date daily along with pictures so we knew he was in good hands and being well taken care of. At pick up our dog left with a swag bag and a nice certificate and personal note. I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you Elizabeth and Joe!

Our little girl had a great time! Joe and Liz were fantastic, we received sweet pictures during her stay and we can tell she felt totally happy, safe and loved. Thanks for taking care of our sweet pup!
