Availability

I currently work weekdays 9-4pm and pet sit during my time outside of these hours. I don’t work on weekends, so we most always have someone with us and our two dogs! I am mainly able to take care of pets that can hold their bladder 7+ hours, but have a few circumstances that my husband can do a midday potty break during lunch hour.

Safety, trust & environment

I live in an apartment with my husband Nathan, and we live in a great, safe, community in Ashburn with lots of walking trails. I am here to continue exactly what you do with your pet so that it eliminates any extra stress especially with their owner being away already! We will go over their routines and I stick to the information you provide to keep the pet feeling stable while you're away! Lots of love is given, and I love having them sleep in the bed if they are comfortable with that. I take lots of walks in my neighborhood with my own dogs, and can do mental stimulation indoors as well! My camera roll is completely full of photos of the dogs I watch, and that I can send to you. I am diligent about entering and exiting doors, and ensuring leashes and collars are secure with a good grip onto it.

Information Elizabeth F. would like to know about your pet

I will need to know if they are aggressive or reactive towards other dogs or people. This is to keep everyone including the pup safe! I also cannot board dogs that shed high amounts. I also cannot give any peanut butter treats because I am allergic to peanuts.

A typical day

I tailor each visit to what you think is best for your pet! If they are younger, we can spend more time getting some energy out and engaging in stimulating activities. If they are older, a peaceful nap or sitting on the porch being together can be just as nice. If you are open to car rides, I take a few dogs that I sit to Starbucks for a special pup cup every now and then! Lots of walks are taken and getting new sniffs and smells discovered is so healthy for a dog's mind!

Pet care experience

I have had a family dog since I was 10 years old, and now own two standard poodles at my age of 26. I love dogs with all my heart and think they all deserve a loving hand and detailed attention when it comes to their care.

Elizabeth is awesome! My dog August loves staying with her and her family. Elizabeth took August to the dog park, gave him a bath after he got dirty there and also bought him a toy. This is the second time August has stayed with Elizabeth, when I went to drop him off he went straight to her home and was very happy. I was at ease during my travel knowing he is well taken care of which was evident by the daily pictures that were shared with me.

Liz was excellent with Oreo. She is attentive, calm, caring and very particular about the needs of pets. I will surely consider her again in future. Thanks.
