My schedule is flexible. I have a small fenced yard at my townhome and enjoy adventures to the dog park and beyond. My dog has been with me 1.5 years and she does well with playful small, medium, large, & xl breeds. My cat is friendly to dogs who reciprocate the sentiment.

Information Elizabeth F. would like to know about your pet

Please bring your dogs :food, bowl, toys, bed/blanket AND crate to board. It is important for your dog to be up to date on vaccines, especially Kennel Cough (bordatella) and Rabies. Please note your pets allergies (food or otherwise) and Triggers/Behavioral concerns are important to relay (jumps fence/digs/attempts escape/storm fear/fireworks). Any medical/special needs your furry or feathered friends might have. Knowledge of thier typical schedule would be helpful. ****Making sure you have working harness/collar/leash in good condition is important for safe adventures. I DO NOT WALK DOGS ON FLEXI / RETRACTABLE STYLE LEASHES. Please consider having an emergency contact that knows your dog is with me and can be reached in event of emergency (on my part).

A typical day

Morning snuggles before getting out of bed to potty and awaken "the zoo". After chores I often take my dog to the dog park for exercise. Offer time to play indoors (basement space) with toys. Who can't resist bedtime snuggles too (with a treat of course)

Pet care experience

Ex-vet tech of 10 years before switching species to human nursing. My 4 yr old (spayed female) borzoi mix and I love to have company and try to go on adventures daily (weather dependent.) 8 years experience with Avian /parrot friends large and small as well as some exotics. I've even done some farm care including chickens, horses, zebras and donkeys way back in the day. ** additional fees apply when adding on "exotic" pets since rover doesn't have a pet designation for them on the platform ***Very important to note: Meet and greets prior to your scheduled request are preferred. Some things to think about...If your dog needs to be crated when YOU leave YOUR house, he or she will likely need it in my home too when boarding with me, please bring it along. MOST importantly.... if your dog likes to chase/hunt BIRDS boarding with me is not recommended as i do have parrots in my home.

Ms. Elizabeth was a lifesaver when my previous dog sitter canceled last minute due to a scheduling conflict. She stepped right in without hesitation, and I am incredibly grateful for her kindness, flexibility, and willingness to help. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable pet sitter. Thank you so much again!
