My husband and I are home full-time, which means your dog will have round the clock care, attention, and company. We live in a lovely cottage with half an acre of secure outdoor space - perfect for playtime, fresh air and relaxed sniffing around. Whether it’s weekday walks, weekend stays, or last minute bookings, we’re flexible and available most days. With both of us at home, your pet will never be left alone and will always have someone to keep them company, play with them, or simply offer a lap to nap on

Safety, trust & environment

We’re true animal people through and through, and your dog’s safety and happiness are our top priorities. We share our home with one friendly, well-socialised dog (age 12), a cocker spaniel who has grown up around other dogs and enjoys having them as company. Our garden is very secure, offering plenty of safe space for play, sniffing and exploring. For added peace of mind, we use long training leads outdoors (including the back garden), this gives your dog the freedom to run around while ensuring they stay safe and close by. We’re always nearby, keeping a watchful eye to make sure everyone is getting along and feeling comfortable. Whether your dog is playful or prefers quiet cuddles, we’ll make sure they feel right at home, safe and loved.

Information Elizabeth F. would like to know about your pet

Let us know if your dog has any special requirements , likes or dislikes, food favourites etc and we will do our very best to accommodate them.

A typical day

We will make sure your dog has plenty to keep them stimulated , we can play ball in the garden or take a lovely walk in the woods or even a walk along the seafront. Unless the weather is very cold and/or wet we spend hours in the garden or if it’s cuddles and love and a quieter environment , then there’s plenty of that to go round too. We want to offer them a “home from home” experience as we know how stressful it can be for your dog to be away from you for any length of time. We create a quiet , calm space while they adjust to our home environment and with the help of a few treats and a walk in the woods at the back of our garden they usually settle within an hour or so.

Pet care experience

I’ve had the joy of sharing my life with dogs for over 30 years, raising them alongside my children (who are now grown and out on their own). Caring for pets has always been second nature to me - whether it was energetic spaniels, cuddly Yorkshire Terriers, loyal Rottweilers, or sweet little Chihuahuas. Throughout the years, I’ve welcomed a wide range of breeds into my home, including Westies, English Terriers, and Bichon Frises. Each one had their own personality and needs, and I’ve loved learning how to connect with them all. From playtime and walks to quiet cuddles and gentle care for senior pups, I’ve truly done it all. Now that I have more time and an empty nest, I’m excited to offer loving, reliable care to other people’s pets - treating them like part of the family

Annie stayed with Elizabeth for a few hours yesterday for the first time, she settled in and made herself at home very quickly. She had a couple of walks which she loves and when she came home she was happily worn out as it wasn't long before she was soundly asleep. Thank you Elizabeth, we're looking forward to our next visit 😀xx

Elizabeth and her family were so kind to our Wentworth! She has fantastic communication and kept me at ease the whole time with the photos and videos she sent everyday. I really appreciate her kindness especially on his first trip being without us. We would happily leave our pup with Elizabeth again, thank you so much!
