Pet care experience

A calm companion while you’re away

Over the past year, I’ve had the opportunity to care for several dogs and a cat with a variety of personalities and needs. I’ve cared for a Pitbull mix, Chihuahua, Australian Shepherd, a Terrier mix, and a Maine Coon cat. I’ve also been a pet parent to a Cane Corso/Lab mix, so I’m very comfortable around larger breeds and understand the importance of patience, consistency, and proper care. I’m comfortable giving medications and following specific care routines. I’ve provided medication for pets as well as my own, so I understand how important it is to be reliable and attentive when it comes to health needs. I truly love animals and enjoy getting to know their individual personalities. My goal is to make your pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away — treating them with the same attention and kindness I’d want for my own

Safety, trust & environment

When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I take the time to learn each pet’s schedule, personality, and individual needs, including feeding routines, walks, medication, and any special instructions. I understand that pets can feel stressed when their people are away, so I provide a calm, patient presence and plenty of attention while respecting their home and environment. I’m happy to send updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for.

Boo (cat) is so lucky to have been taken care of by Liz while I was out of town. Liz sent timely updates and photos so I knew he was okay, treated him like a prince, gave him his daily medication, and kept my apartment clean. Any creature would be lucky to be taken care of by Liz. She is a beautiful soul who cares deeply and loves all animals. Thank you again, Liz! Boo looks forward to receiving your care again soon!

Liz is the perfect person to care for your pet. She has watched our dog numerous times and is dependable, trustworthy, and, most importantly, incredibly loving. She genuinely loves animals, and they seem to love her right back. Our dog requires a little extra attention because he takes medication twice a day and isn't always cooperative when it comes to taking his pills. Liz made sure he received every dose and even prepared his special food exactly as needed. Knowing our dog was in such caring and capable hands gave us complete peace of mind. You and your pet will be lucky to have Liz as your pet sitter!

Liz stayed in my home and cared for our two dogs while we were gone on a 8 day vacation. She was incredible! She was so kind and caring to our dogs, and I really had the peace of mind that they were in great hands while we were away. She sent photos and updates to us and cared for the dogs and our home as if they were her own. I would highly recommend Liz to anyone looking for a pet sitter!

Before caring for your pet, I like to learn their normal routine, personality, and any specific needs they have. Please provide details about feeding schedules, medications, walks, favorite activities, fears or triggers, and any important habits I should know about. I also appreciate information about your pet’s comfort level with new people, other animals, car rides, and new environments. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can help your pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
