Your Pet's Favorite Weird Aunt
I've been around and cared for dogs on and off since I was a young child. Currently, I volunteer regularly with the Iowa City Animal Care and Adoption center and have gone through their training classes on dog behavior and providing appropriate stimulation and play. I've cleaned kennels and walked dogs as small as a Yorkie and as big as a Great Dane with a variety of quirks and behaviors. I love throwing a ball or just sitting and scratching some soft ears; whatever your pupper needs. I work a full-time, remote job that allows me flexibly to work from anywhere and the passion to shower your pet with the love they need and deserve.

Lyzzi is very dependable, professional, and exceeds expectations! She does a wonderful job with our shy pup. We asked for her help on short notice due to flight delays and she was very accommodating. We would be happy to continue booking with her as she has gained Munch's trust as well as ours!
Lyzzi did a wonderful job of caring for our 8 month old labrador retriever for a week in our home!! She went above and beyond to keep everything clean and tidy; her communication was top tier, with daily updates and flexibility in time of arrival and day of our return. Our lab is extremely shy and takes a while to warm up to new people - Lyzzi was incredibly patient and was able to win Munch's trust to go on walks and play together. We are very grateful to Lyzzi and plan to rebook with her in the future!

Calendar and availability
Schedule
I work full-time fully remote during the day. I am able to do in-home, overnight, or drop in care with lots of flexibility. If you're close enough, I can drop in over breaks or lunch if necessary.
Where your pet will stay
Safety, trust & environment
I'll follow all house rules regarding your pet: on or off furniture, outdoor or indoor time, treats, feeding, and walkies. I can drop in multiple times a day, or work from your home to provide all day care/attention
Pets
A typical day
I love to keep dogs happy and active. It's especially fun to let them show me where they want to go and what they want to sniff. I'm also happy to sit with an older dog, or dog with mobility issues to engage them mentally and emotionally as needed.
