I've cared for four elderly dogs in those years. My mom's dog with kidney failure and special food requirements. Grandmother's dog with paralyzed back legs needing to be washed now and then when she had potty accidents on herself. My neighbors two dogs one old and one round. The older one was a fragile deer head chihuahua having no teeth. I cut wet food up small enough so she could eat and put her carefully into a sweater to take her potty out in the cold weather. The younger was another chihuahua with bladder problems kept peeing every two hours all over.
