Safety, trust & environment

I currently have 3 dogs, a cat, and a turtle. I regularly feed my pets. I let out my dog regularly to go to the bathroom. I clean out my turtle tank regularly as well. I also have to give my dogs medicine regularly and clean out my dogs ears. I also will bath then regularly. I have a cat that stays with me at college too.

Information Elizabeth D. would like to know about your pet

It is important for me to know any medications and allergies your pet might have. And it is important for me to know their diet as well as their energy level.

A typical day

I love to let my cat sit outside on my deck. I also taught my cat to fetch. But overall just try and spend time with him.

Worked at vet clinic and has 3 dogs

Pet care experience

I currently work at a vet clinic as a vet assistant. I have to make sure the animals are clean and that their cages are too and do any other kennel work. As well as putting owners and their pets in rooms before the vet sees them and I also will assist when anyone asks me whether it is just holding a dog, or drawing blood, etc. I own a cat here at college and 3 dogs back home.

As a very protective guardian of my dog, Athena normally does not warm up to new people. She is kind and sweet but rarely lets someone unknown to even pet her. Elizabeth somehow defied this expectation. Within a short time, she built a deep trust with Athena, and the results are astounding. Quite impressive.

Elizabeth took great care of our 2 dogs while we were away. She was very punctual for every visit throughout the weekend and sent us the cutest pictures.

Elizabeth is very reliable, punctual and organized. She is confident and not afraid of our dogs. I was worried at first that our dogs would be defensive and not let her in the house. She listened to my directions to a tee and it worked! The dogs reallly really like her and I believe that Elizabeth is a terrific doggy caregiver! This experience has helped me to gain confidence in our dogs and I can rest easy knowing that she is taking good care of them!
