Passionate About Pet Care

Elizabeth provides exceptional dog walking and dog sitting services. In high school Elizabeth attended animal care classes where she learned to groom and ride horses at a local stable. In addition to dogs, a wide variety of animals have shared her home over the years, including parakeets, cockatiels, turtles, iguanas, snakes, fish, cats, guinea pigs and mice. A home is just not a home without animals. Naturally creative, Elizabeth’s love of dogs and nature has also had a great influence on her art and photography. She has created logos and artwork for various wildlife and animal rescue efforts. A self-confessed dog nerd, she prefers watching nature programs and documentaries over just about anything else. Friends and family tease her about being a dog breed encyclopedia. Elizabeth loves all dogs and specializes in large working breeds. Her interests extend to puppy socialization, obedience, therapy and service dog training. A dedicated animal advocate she also has a talent for rehabilitating and developing confidence in abused and neglected dogs. She enjoys studying animal behavior. Elizabeth’s approach is sensitive and intuitive. Education, communication and channeling energies and instincts is key. She listens by tuning in with all of her senses, the way dogs do. Dogs have so much to teach us if we are willing to pay attention. She believes that human beings must have respect, compassion and appreciation for all the living creatures that share our planet. We are all interconnected. Elizabeth’s own canine companions have been loyal confidantes, soul mates and protectors. She knows they deserve nothing less in return.

Doggy Day Care • Aug 23, 2025

Elizabeth was so patient and sweet with our Cotija. Cotija was a bit barky initially, but Elizabeth didn't shy away at all and stayed calm. She even taught her a new trick! Would definitely book again

Dog Walking • Jul 18, 2019

Elizabeth is great. She showed up on time and is very accommodating. My dog warmed up to her quick and she even took pictures of their walk. Very nice and understanding of my dogs needs and will definitely continue to hire.

Felt very comfortable after meeting with Elizabeth. She well cared for my dog. She sent pictures and updates twice a day. Took dog for walks. Could not have asked for a better sitter. Will definitely use Elizabeth again....

Elizabeth has a natural connection with animals, dogs in particular. I have known her personal dogs (large breeds) and they were always well behaved and listened to her every word. When my rescue dog Zen (Boxer/Great Dane mix) was giving me problems on leash (pulling, lunging, etc.), I asked Elizabeth to work with him. Thanks to her, after three short sessions with Zen, he is no longer a problem. Elizabeth used a technique that I had not tried after two years and he really responded to it. He now knows what I expect and no longer pulls on leash. I highly recommend Elizabeth's work, very professional, skilled and best of all LOVES animals (and they know it)!
