**From Miami to Furry Friend Advocate: My Journey with Animals** Growing up in sunny Miami, Florida, my connection with animals was effortless. While other kids played with imaginary friends, I found joy in playing with lizards, stray cats, and dogs—many of which I tried to bring into my home! At just 7 years old, I adopted my first pet, a rescued poodle named Twinky. Caring for him—feeding, bathing, walking, playing (yes, we even went skateboarding!), and cuddling—left a permanent mark on my heart. As I grew older, my passion for raising animals deepened. At 12, after much pleading with my parents, I began fostering two kittens abandoned by their mother in our backyard. From there, our family cared for parrots, ferrets, cats, and dogs—plus, we even rescued an owl along the way! Fast forward to today, and I proudly embrace my title as a "Cat Lady," with four beloved cats (all fostered and adopted). My life has been devoted to animal care through volunteering, fostering, hosting cat yoga events at Cat Cafes, and working at an animal hospital as a representative. In the midst of the pandemic, I shifted to dog walking and pet sitting out of pure curiosity. One positive review led to another, and five years later, I’m living my dream! Whether it's dog walking, pet sitting, or cat care, I feel destined for this path, and I can't wait to meet more furry friends along the way and enrich their lives.
