I work a very consistent Monday thru Friday and spend my weekends and evenings outside with a dog in tow whether it's my own or a client's. I work Monday and Friday from home so I can take on clients for long weekends.

I have a crate trained aussie and have a large fenced in backyard. I spend a few hours in the yard everyday with my dog and can provide exercise for your dog using my yard or going on walks.

I would like to know some habits or your dog as well as their routine or schedule. Walking around a very heavily trafficked neighborhood of people and dogs, it is good to know their sensitivities so I can make sure to not get them in a situation where they may be uncomfortable. Understanding what calms your dog down and or if they have any sensitivities would be great! I have had experience with dogs that have epilepsy and other medical issues and would be willing to walk a dog that needed extra assistance or care, but I just want to make sure I am adequately informed of their needs prior.
A typical day
I love exploring Portland by Walking. We will walk around your neighborhood and be mindful of stopping in public areas like parks when possible to maximize sniffs and fun for your dog.

Hi, I am Lizzie! I have raised and trained dogs my entire life. I grew up in Kansas and moved to Portland around 7 years ago. I grew up raising labradoodles and standard poodles. I currently have a standard Australian Shepherd, Milo, who melts my heart and keep me on my toes. Having high energy dogs, I know how important it is to stay active and help dogs get adequate exercise. I work 8-5 at a desk job, but have lovely student loans. I would love to explore new parts of Portland while having the pleasure of walking your dog. I am free on the weekends and weekday evenings to assist you with your dog walking needs. I understand how crucial it is for dogs to get attention and exercise for their physical and mental health. A regular walk and socialization can go a long ways. I have a calm personality and get along well with almost any dog big or small. I look forward to meeting you and your dog!
