Pet care experience

Snuggles & Zoomies Zone

Loving, Skilled Care for Dogs (and the Occasional Cat!) As a lifelong dog lover and experienced caregiver, I provide compassionate, personalized care for pets of all ages and needs. My Weimaraner underwent three knee surgeries, which gave me firsthand experience with post-op recovery, medication schedules, comfort care, rehab walking, and even guided pool therapy. I’m especially comfortable with senior dogs, pups recovering from surgery, and those needing a little extra patience and attention. While dogs are my specialty, I also care for friendly cats who just need a little love while their humans are away. Every pet in my care is treated like family—with plenty of tail wags, head scratches, and calm reassurance.

Elizabeth was great with Jackson! She sent pic updates and texted daily. Jackson had so much with her two dogs as well.

We had a wonderful experience with Elizabeth! She took such great care of Bella and kept us updated the whole time. It was clear Bella felt comfortable, happy, and loved while we were away. We came home to a relaxed pup and couldn’t be more grateful. Highly recommend!

It is incredibly difficult to leave your furry loved ones with someone else but we have seriously found treasure in working with Liz. She sent multiple photos per day, was attentive to details listed, left the house pristine and went above and beyond in so many ways. We feel so lucky to have found Liz and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for the perfect fit for their pets. She’s the best!

Safety, trust & environment

Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities—whether I’m staying in your home or welcoming your pet into mine. If your pet boards at our home, they’ll enjoy a safe, spacious environment with plenty of love and room to play. We have a large, fully fenced-in backyard that’s perfect for running, lounging, or just sniffing around. Inside, there's lots of space to relax, play, or curl up for a nap. Our two friendly dogs love the company of other pets and are great playmates if your pup enjoys socializing. Of course, I always make sure introductions are done slowly and safely, based on your pet’s personality and comfort level. I also have experience caring for senior pets and those recovering from surgery—including knee surgeries like ACL/CCL repairs—so I’m happy to accommodate any special needs, medication schedules, or mobility support. Whether in your home or ours, I keep a close eye on every pet and maintain regular communication with you, including updates and photos, so you can enjoy peace of mind while you’re away.

Pets

A typical day

A typical day with your pet is full of love, routine, and play! I start each day by making sure your pet is comfortable and happy—whether that means a morning walk, feeding time, or just a good belly rub. I stick closely to your pet’s routine to keep things familiar and stress-free while you're away. Throughout the day, I love getting outdoors for fresh air and exercise—walks around the neighborhood, fetch in the yard, or a calm stroll in the park (if your pet enjoys that). For pets who prefer indoor time, we’ll enjoy play sessions with toys, puzzles, and snuggles on the couch. I also make time for gentle brushing, basic training reinforcement (if you'd like), and lots of verbal praise and affection. In the evenings, I’ll ensure they wind down with whatever makes them most relaxed—whether that's quiet time by my side, an evening walk, or their favorite treat. I treat your pets like they’re my own—loved, safe, and happy every moment we’re together.

To make sure your pet has the best, most comfortable experience possible, I’d love to know the following before we get started: Behaviors & temperament: Are they shy or outgoing? Do they get along with other dogs, or prefer space? Any reactivity, anxiety, or special quirks I should look out for? Daily routine: Feeding times, potty breaks, walk schedule, bedtime habits—anything that helps keep their day predictable and stress-free. Health & special needs: Any medications, past surgeries (like knee repairs), mobility challenges, or current health concerns? I’m experienced in administering medication and supporting pets with limited mobility. Training & rules: Are they crate trained? Allowed on furniture? Any commands or routines you'd like me to reinforce? Social preferences: If boarding, do they enjoy playing with other dogs? I have two friendly dogs at home and always ensure safe introductions based on your pet’s comfort. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can tailor care to meet their needs and make them feel completely at ease!
