Safety, trust & environment

After working in a pet boarding facility, I greatly appreciate getting to care for animals in their own home. It is much less stressful for the animals, and their pet parents. I have years of experience taking care of animals in their own home, and I value transparency, safety, trust and genuine care for the animals I care for.

Information Elizabeth B. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know a little about your pet before I get to meet them! Animals are just like people! Anything they love or don't like, how they are with other animals and people, and if they have any treat allergies. Helpful information to get you started: - What town you live in - How many dogs (or cats/small pets) and what breed - What services you are looking for and how often (occasional drop-in visits, regular drop in visits, vacation care coverage for your pet(s), regular dog walking, or occasional dog walking) - Any allergies I am so excited to set up a meet and greet! Thank you for your interest. ❤️ Take care! 🐾 *Please note I cannot accept dogs with known behavioral aggression towards other humans or dogs, or dogs with a bite history - for my safety and theirs. Please contact a local dog trainer for further guidance! Thank you for your understanding.

A typical day

A typical visit involves a love-filled greeting, and getting geared up for an outdoor adventure! Sniff time, bum scratches, and plenty of time to explore. In sunny and hot conditions we stay to the grass and shade with plenty of extra water to drink, and on rainy days we may have our extra play time indoors after drying off from outside. No matter the visit I always make sure their water is filled, and check for pet safety and locked doors! As for kitties - they always get the extra love too! You'll get a summarized message of the visit and a photo! :) Dog walks are typically a 30 minute visit, and includes arrival time, leashing/harnessing appropriately, time outside, waste pickup and disposal, settling in, safety checks, treats, water, love and your very own Rover card! Visits can also be yard playtime if your prefer! If your street is not safe for walking, we can stick to the yard, or enjoy an hour together at a local hiking area! Transportation pickup and drop off is included for an hourly rate. :) Vacation care and drop-in visits: Drop-in visits are any visits requiring food or medication administration, or any other specialized care for your pet. Drop-in visits can also be used as pet sitting/vacation care in your own home! Vacation care and pet sitting visits are usually 1-2x (for cats or other small pets) or 3x (for dogs or a combination of dogs and other pets) on a full day, for daily feeding, bathroom breaks, playtime and love! Visits can be 30 min to an hour depending on number of pets and requirements, and include your day of departure and arrival, so there is no stress about when you leave or come back home! 🐶❤️🐈

Pet care experience

Hello and thank you so much for your interest in my pet care services! I have over 10 years of professional pet care experience, from dogs, cats and chickens, to fish, birds and even turtles! My experience began while nannying, where apart from caring for children, I took care of their chickens and dogs while the owners were away on vacation! After college and stepping away from a typical career path, I enjoyed being a kennel technician and eventually the assistant manager of a pet boarding facility offering doggy daycare, overnight boarding and grooming services to both cats and dogs. Most recently, I worked alongside a wonderful team of dog walkers serving surrounding towns of central MA! I also have experience with puppies, medical boarding and/or senior care of both cats and dogs. I am comfortable working with dogs of all shapes, ages and sizes! *Pet first aid and CPR trained and certified

Elizabeth has cared for my dog several times while I was on vacation. She was prompt and thorough with her care. My pup always looked forward to her visits and was well taken care of while we were away!
