Safety, trust & environment
Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priorities. Because I only host one dog family at a time, I can provide individualized attention and avoid the stress that can come with a home full of unfamiliar animals. We have a clean, non-smoking, kid-friendly home and a large, fully fenced yard. Our doggie door provides supervised-by-presence access between the house and fenced yard, giving your dog the flexibility to go outside for potty breaks or play without having to wait for someone to open the door. Izzy is friendly and enjoys having other dogs around, but I will always make introductions thoughtfully and pay close attention to each dog's personality and comfort level. I'll follow your dog's normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, medications, sleep preferences, and any special instructions. You'll also receive daily photo updates so you can see how your pup is doing while you're away.

Information Elizabeth B. would like to know about your pet
Every pet has their own personality, routines, and little quirks—and I want to know what makes your pet feel at home! Before their stay, please tell me about their breed, size/weight, personality, favorite activities, and anything that makes them nervous or helps them feel comfortable. I'd also love to know their normal feeding and potty schedule, where they prefer to sleep, and any special routines or care needs. If your pet takes medication, I'm happy to help with things like oral medications as long as you provide clear instructions. For dogs who prefer their own bed, please bring it along! Familiar smells and favorite comforts can make a new place feel much more like home. The more you tell me, the better I can spoil your pet! My goal is to make their stay feel as comfortable and familiar as possible—and to give you peace of mind while you're away. MUST LOVE KIDS.
A typical day
Since I work from home, your dog will have plenty of company throughout the day. We'll take regular breaks to get outside, stretch our legs, play fetch, and enjoy the yard. Our doggie door allows dogs to easily move between the house and our fenced yard throughout the day, so they aren't dependent on a specific potty-break schedule. When I'm working, your dog can relax nearby in the house or head outside to explore and play. Izzy is always happy to have a friend around, so your pup will have a friendly companion during their stay while still receiving plenty of individual attention from me. My goal is simple: when you pick up your dog, I want you to feel like they had their own little vacation while you were away.

Pet care experience
Dogs have always been a part of my life. I grew up with dogs, including a Golden Retriever, and I've always had a soft spot for animals of all kinds. After settling down and starting our family, we were ready to bring a dog back into our lives, and in 2024 we adopted Izzy, our friendly 2-year-old female German Shorthaired Pointer. Our family loves having Izzy around, and I would love the opportunity to give your dog the same kind of attention, affection, and care while you're away. I work from home, so your dog won't be spending the day alone. They'll get plenty of attention, playtime, potty breaks, and love throughout their stay. We live in a clean, comfortable, family-friendly home on nearly half an acre with a fully fenced yard and a doggie door that gives dogs easy access to the yard throughout the day. Our home is welcoming to both kids and animals, and your dog will be able to enjoy the freedom to go outside, play, explore, or come back inside whenever they'd like. My husband and I were adventurous before settling down and starting our family so we decided not to jump into pet ownership until more recently. Now after having kids, we want to make sure that we are all fully ready to jump back into the long term commitment of pet ownership. In the meantime though, I have a lot of love to share and I would adore hosting your pet. My home is in town but offers nearly a half acre of fenced in yard space. I am happy to keep your pet indoors, outdoors, or a mix. Whatever you and your pet prefer, I can accommodate. I work from home and can give your pet lots of attention throughout the day. Please feel free to call me, swing by for a tour, and feel comfortable knowing that your treasured family member(s) is safe here with me.
Reviews
Elizabeth was amazing with our dog during his 3-day stay! She kept us updated with photos and even sent a couple of videos so we could see how much fun he was having. Her dog got along wonderfully with him, and it was clear that he felt comfortable and welcomed in their home. One of my favorite things was that he learned how to use their doggie door while he was there! Elizabeth also provided him with his own private room at night where he could relax, decompress, and have his own quiet space. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was being cared for like family. I completely trust Elizabeth and her family and would absolutely have them watch our dog again anytime. I highly recommend her with your furbaby!
If I could give 10 stars, I would! Elizabeth and her family took in our fur baby, and truly adopted her into their family. They made it easy to drop off and pick up our dog at a convenient time. Elizabeth was very good at giving us pupdates, and sent us the cutest pictures. We had no concerns or worries. You could tell that she was well-cared for, and enjoyed the time spent there. You can trust that your furry friend is in good care and company if you book with this perfect Rover sitter. We have already decided to re-book with Elizabeth the next time we plan a vacation !
