Ahead of time, I’d love to know your dog’s temperament with other dogs and people, if they have treats, supplements, or medications they’re used to getting, and what fun tricks they know! It’s important to keep their minds engaged along with their bodies. For cats, I’d love to know about their personality! How do they interact when strangers enter the home? What are their major boundaries I should respect? What do they like to play with?
A typical day
I love taking dogs to run free in apartment “bark parks,” on long trail walks, and giving them lots of playtime and love in the home as well. I think keeping in mind a dog's energy levels, stamina, and breed is helpful too in order to make sure they're receiving enrichment that stimulates their minds and their instincts. For cats, I think providing comfort depends on each cat! For some cats that means “please do not acknowledge me at all, you stranger!” and for others maybe it’s lots of play time, treat puzzles, or cuddles. That’s why communicating beforehand to know the personality of the pets a little bit is so important!

Hi! While I’m an Alabama native, my husband is originally from Bozeman! We moved back here to his hometown after the birth of our first niece in early 2025. I currently have almost 100% open availability to help with your furry (or scaly or fuzzy or feathered) friends! Feel free to reach out to confirm if the dates you need assistance work with my schedule. I have a lifetime of experience with all animals (well most). I have experience with the obvious (dogs, cats, fish, etc) but also am well versed in care for reptiles big and small, turtles, frogs, birds, and invertebrates. I personally have at home a sweet old lady tarantula, Cranberry, 2 feisty rescue cats named Alice and Benny, a chihuahua mix, Stella, and our precious 3 year old Golden Retriever, Chief. Elizabeth was so wonderful with my cat Beau! She helped me out last minute and was so communicative and reliable. She sent me so many great updates and snuggled him and showed him love like he was her own pet. She cleaned my place afterwards and when I got home he was happy and calm-clearly he’d been taken care of brilliantly! I’d absolutely use her again
Elizabeth was fabulous with our often anxious pup, Gunner. He's generally unsettled when we leave him with a sitter for the first time, but we got photos of him sleeping belly up next to Elizabeth on the sofa - a sure sign that he was totally at ease! Elizabeth did trick training with him, which he absolutely adores. It's no wonder he whined when she left. Elizabeth is professional and kept us updated throughout the sit. We'd give more than 5 stars if we could!
Elizabeth was amazing! She sent lots of updates and pictures of Charlie. She was quick to respond and took excellent care of him. He definitely took a liking to her and I would for sure book her again in the future
